+Sans Megalovania When I looked at your username, I was confused at first. I've always associated Megalovania with Chara/the players of Merciless. Since, you know. Megalomania is wanting to conrtol others? And Chara/you control Frisk in Merciless? But then again, I *did* see the fight with Sans from the perspective of "You are the boss, and Sans is the hero", whereas most are like, "Woah, Sans is a final boss, AND HE'S OWNING ME". The fact that he dodges your attacks and can betray kill you just makes me believe this more.

Only thing that's missing from this whole comic is what Sans tells the protagonist afterwards. You're set up for that moment so well. First you get some rather heartwarming backstory, and then you get a chill sent down your spine.

+Le Dapper Greninja I love that part, it's frighteningly good. The artist DID add a bonus page for that part, but we didn't see it until the video was uploaded, unfortunately. We'd upload it on its own, but it kinda loses its impact without the whole setup, and it'd feel a little awkward uploading almost the same video a second time... Maybe we'll find another comic that covers it or something equally chilling!

'If you wanted to free our kind....You could have taken ONE soul, gone beyond the barrier, taken six souls from the humans, then come back and freed everyone peacefully.' She's talking about killing people dude, so far those have been innocent human children too, denying them the chance of an afterlife, for the sake of using the souls to escape the barrier. Most of the monsters would have expected Asgore to destroy humanity upon their freedom too if Frisk hadn't of made a LOT of friends down there. I think the loss of her son is what drove her to try adopting the human children that fell down there.

+Autumnvicky I think the loss of her children also made her kind of a bitch. She left Asgore (when before they were literally inseparable) after the deaths of Chara and Asriel only because he felt grief and directed his short-sighted anger towards fueling the war he never hoped to start with humanity, when she should have stayed with him, comforted him, and lessened his anger to an afterthought so no conflict would arise. Instead, she chose the easy way out and forced her husband to live alone in a kingdom where everyone pressures him to make the shittiest choices possible.

Poor Toriel. Imagine living deep underground for god knows how long, finally meeting someone who could be a friend, and having to let them go on their own adventure. It's quite sad really. Taylan meriç I can prove in an instant that she did indeed say that before Frisk's arrival - if you are to take Sans' offer to hang out at the MTT resort, he tells you in specific that if he hadn't made a promise, Frisk would be dead where he/she stood. That implies the promise was made before Frisk's arrival, because otherwise Sans would have killed him/her on sight.

It seems that you asked to the real Sans to dub this. 10/10 would watch it again.

Frisk wouldn't get a pacifist end. Papyrus would be shocked that his brother died, and if he found out that it was because he actually did his damn job for once he might want to commit suicide because he pressured his brother into working and NOW LOOK WHAT HAPPENED! So, either Papyrus commits suicide, (meaning you could never be friends with Undyne, meaning you'd never see the True Lab, and no one would get their amalgamate family and friends back, and Alphys would keep lying), he stops working (because he might assume Sans died simply BECAUSE he worked, and not because you killed him), he would murder your *ss (like how he would in the "Disbelief Ending", which is fanon, since you only fight Sans if you go Merciless and kill Papyrus), or he'd act normally, just be really depressed.

I wasn't talking to you. If that's all you're going to say, you shouldn't have said anything. Papyrus killing himself is just one of many possible outcomes that could happen if Frisk (somehow) killed Sans when they first met by the bridge.

+Lauren Chaput Aw, come now, they had every right to add their comment to the conversation! These comments are public, after all. And I can see why they'd question Papyrus committing suicide - it's a bit of a stretch! If you consider Papyrus' entire character for a few minutes, it's quite clear that he would not be the type to act that way. As much as he loves his brother, and as much as it may hurt him, his traits lead me to believe his reaction would be more like your last possibility - being very depressed. On the other hand, I question how the human could defeat Sans in Snowdin - by that point, they wouldn't possess the amount of LV they have by the end of a Genocide run, so their HP couldn't be very high. Some skillful players are able to beat Sans without taking any hits, granted, but in the context of the game, it'd be a little odd for Frisk to defeat Toriel and immediately ace a battle with Sans, wouldn't it? :P

When Sans told me this story, i was imagining Frisk with their eyes full of tears, because they understood than Toriel knew somehow she wasn't able to keep them with her, and by asking Sans to protect and help them, she had saved their life. Because, without this promise... well... i guess even if Sans is a lazybone... Frisk really sould be dead at the second he saw them...

Megalovania is not Sans' theme. It's yours. There's a theme in the OST that's called, "Song that might play when you fight Sans", which is his ACTUAL theme. Hence, the song that plays during the fight is the player's, since the word Megalomania (The word Megalovania was based on), basically means dominance in power and cruelty, I believe. (I might be wrong on the definition, but you can look it up) Either way, sorry for being the jerk to point that out...

I had heard Megalovania was his theme, but I thought "Song that might play when you fight Sans" was used not to spoil the amazing existence of Megalovania itself. This makes a lot more sense! Was it confirmed anywhere, or is it still at theory stage? Because I wouldn't be surprised if this were confirmed.

Shouldn't be too hard, because this game has tons of them, and this is too fun to stop! +RommiplaysGames - Thank you for putting it that way! I mean, I love the fear induced by the following part, but what we loved most about this comic was the sad aspect of it. I found that ending on this note was very powerful on its own, and think that adding the rest would have taken that away, unfortunately. We did cover the moment in another video, to make up for it, but I'm happy this one stayed the way it is!

heh, this was a sweet comic. this is why I ship them together. and I can't wait to play Undertale. I just... hope I get the good ending first. I don't want to see the bad ending where everyone is dead.... I just couldn't see that without crying.

what can i say

I never realized that the person Sans was talking about in the bar was Toriel and in the Asriel fight he also mentions that he had heard Toriel's voice before and vice versa

That was actually pretty cool

Guys, imagine if the woman didn't tell Sans not to kill any humans who go through there. The ending would be quick. Sans would just kick our asses until we just quit.

+gekkokkid Oh, we're aware of that part! This comic ended on a sad note instead, which people seem to quite enjoy regardless. We love the scarier part that follows, but that's covered in a different video (even though that one doesn't have the buildup, and ends on a lighthearted note).

huh.i somehow didn't put together that sans was reffering to this door in his story. i thought he was talking about the door in snowdin that only opens after dodgind all the credits and that he was talking to whatever left the dog-shaped husk.
