Her 2016 was meant for her. It was rock solid performance! I tried doing a single turn on one tile on the floor only to find myself on a different tile.

It was her double L turn. She only got credited with a 1.5 because she dropped her leg too fast before completing the rotation and there was at least a .3 deduction for the balance checks.

She was also competing injured, which might have contributed to some of the issues.

She looked so much more comfortable in Rio. I believe that she was really great here to.

Sad she didn’t make it. But for sure some costly deductions in there. Her double L turn was yikes. Nice dismount

It was simply not her day, but that turn series was amazing! Wish to see that again soon!

@@lucia60001 Su rutina tenía un valor de 6.1 La de Tang Xiying que quedó en segundo lugar tenía un valor de 6.0 así que sí podría haber subido al podio, me parece tan irespetuoso que opinen desde la ignorancia de cosas que no entienden.

This is very odd to me why downgrade soo much at the Olympics was she injured also for anyone wondering the mid conection in the beginning with her mount was what took her out of contention bc if she had done she had in the past she would’ve gotten a connection bonus and one less balance check

@@augustisthebest1606 She might have been wanting to do the 2.5 for the team finals but wanting to play it safe for qualifications. The LOSO seems to have been a one off - at the June 26 date she went back to doing the BHS.

The Dutch team really had a terrible qualifying competition all around unfortunately. But their outfits were really great!

Low difficulty. A 5.8 compared to the 6.6 at the Rio Olympics. Also there was tougher competition on the beam at this Olympics. Sanne was 3rd reserve

@@acrobaticspa yeah the Chinese gymnasts were unbeatable at the beam finals this year. When they hit, they're absolutely amazing amd they certainly did this year. I missed seeing sanne too and I was hoping she would have done her Rio routine

@@Fvhlipe That's incorrect. The Wevers was downgraded to L turn 1.5 and they did pay the L turn + turn + double + split + jump full; but yes, she would have qualified with a better Wevers turn.

Not surprising she didn't make to the finals!😌

Honestly the Wevers double L turn was close enough to being right round. I mean common its the beam. That's so difficult its not even funny lol. I've seen Mustafina skill (the triple Y turn on floor) get given credit when the credit was SO not due. Many rimes with the 3 rotations. Easier to fall dramatically out of it if not centered and rotated all the way. For how far Wevers was off on that double L turn through the whole part of the 2nd turn...I'd give her the Difficulty and take a tenth or 2 off Thats it. Because otherwise it.was beautiful. Most not gymnastics fanatics wouldn't have Even known there was a mistake at all there lol

"close enough" isnt enough, unfortunately. Turns have to be 100% completed. Not 99%.

@@mattj5391 Did you just ignore the part where they were drawing comparisons to incomplete Mustafina turns being given full credit? The element evaluation should at least be consistent so that spectators and fans can both understand the judging easier or even take it seriously.

¿En qué te basas para decir que es una rutina pobre? Seguro hacer series de piruetas es muy fácil para ti. Las acrobacias de las chinas son igual o menos difíciles que lo que ella hace, solo que hacen muchas conexiones para incrementar su dificultad . Simplemente tuvo errores de conexión que la dejaron fuera de la final está vez, eso no significa que su rutina sea "pobre" . Si no saben de gimnasia, no opinen.

@@lucia60001 tuvo errores pero su rutina no es pobre, tiene buen nivel de dificultad, ademas esto son las clasificaciones, no las finales, solo que tu solo te fijas en los mortales o combinaciones de acrobacias, casi nadie hace los giros como Sanne, por algo el doble giro con pierna en 90 grados tiene su nombre. Sabias eso????

@@matyy1261 si lo sé y me encantó que ella ganara el oro en Río'16 porque se lo mereció y además por encima de las americanas, y porque fue ESPECTACULAR pero ésta rutina no se le parece ni de lejos, además se la ve muy nerviosa e insegura. En este caso le doy la razón a los jueces, ella no convenció.
