Sunjay Dutt had a very colourful past. He worked hard for his comeback. He went through a lot of crap. Don't agree with how he dealt with the. But definitely not a terrorist. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the trailer. Usually people who don't know Sanjay Dutt/Sanju don't understand and don't like it because of that. Based on the life of Sanjay Dutt (still alive, 60). He got involved with the underworld mafia and got arrested and prosecuted for possession of illegal dangerous firearms which is a very very serious offence in India (*as it should be, America*), after that his whole career got over. But still loved by millions. He was the son of late Sunil Dutt, who was also a huge star so Sanjay Dutt was rich brat. (Kinda like RDJ but with a way worse ending).

Sanju is a movie to gloss over that actors actions and possibly make people look at him sympathetically. It also tries to make him look innocent, while he was not. Movies leaves out the part of his association with the underworld mastermind Dawood and tries to shift blame on others. He let the mafia use his house to store their arms and explosives which were later used in the bombay blasts. He kept one of the AK56 with him from the batch.
