These people are openly defaming Kanwariya Yatrees without any shame. I can guarantee these people know nothing about them. I live in Lucknow, a huge number of Kanwariya Yatrees walk through the Ayodhya Highway nearby my house. I have seen how many problems those yatrees suffer, all the while smiling and full of life. Here are some hard facts : 1. Kanwariya Yatra is done by entire families which includes babies, children, women and elders on barefoot. 2. The yatra is carried out carrying a religious pandal, flag and other customary offerings which should not be kept on ground. Essentially means one person has to stay awake keeping the item on his shoulders. 3. The amount of sacrifice that these families have to do due to this Yatra is unexplainable. They can't do a job unless it allows them a leave of one month straight every year which essentially means they can rarely find a suitable job. 4. They have to ensure their livelihood accordingly to provide for the household and meals for one month of yatra when they can't work. 5. Most of the Yatree have their feet bruised or injured by the time I see them walk through the road next to our house. Yet their spirit and enthusiasm hits you with positivity. 6. These people are calling the yatrees goons when the fact is this is done by the whole family together which includes children and ladies. 7. There are several incidences of stone pelting reported every year when these poor families walk through neighbourhoods of a certain peaceful community. 8. I once asked an elderly man, why are you people doing this every year? He laughed and said, nobody is forcing us to do this. This yatra makes us realise the greatness and the pleasure of life. What is wrong in realising the gift of life? Now, I cannot claim these people can't do something wrong. Obviously, there are miscreants at times. But the fact remains, there are those people too who try to take advantage of them passing by in order to disguise their acts. Now there are stone pelters who consistently attack them while passing, or those who try to molest the female yatree, but they should not be labelled because it is wrong to defame an entire community for the acts of some people. But these spiritually motivated people who are carrying out their ancestral customs can be conveniently labelled and defamed as goons without any care in this world. The hypocrisy, immorality, delusional view and carelessness in maligning an entire community with utter shamelessness is beyond disgusting. It makes me realise how ruthless and unjust the world can be. You can hail a comedian all you want, but the kind of disrespect and ill mindedness of this self-esteemed prick is nothing short of a sin in my eyes. Maybe I am being too biased but I don't care. Because I know Kanwariya Yatrees personally who have stayed in the tents we and many of our neighbours make for their night stays, food stalls and install water tankers every year. I know how spiritually spirited and hard working these people are. Most of them know how to respect women because they are out on the roads with their female family members for a month every year and face many indecent incidents in their journey. Nobody cares for them because at the end of the day, they don't fit in the narrative of these high-society people. So it is better to label them as bigoted goons who deserve stone pelting rather than calling out those who actually hurl stones at them.

@bishoprook2616 Kanwariya is a tribe, they follow a custom. Pandits respect their custom and if anyone (no matter pandit or any other group) doesn't, he is wrong. I don't know why you brought SC ST or OBC in this. No matter what, I am against defaming Kanwariya Yatrees. They are true devotees, it takes dedication to do the yatra. Social miscreants among the Kanwariya usually don't have the discipline to do the yatra. So bullshit defaming should not be done, especially by those who live in luxuries and show their opinionated venom without any clue about the facts.

These guys are so hypocritical and disconnected from the reality that makes them see the world the way they want irrespective of the facts and a rational critical thinking. Let's take 2 examples from the 2 issues talked about in this video and the actual facts about them. 1. They insinuate the "Gau Rakshak" as mob lynchers thirsty for blood. Let's compare it with truth, There have been only 3 incidents of mob lynching between 2015 - 2019 in which proclaimed Gau Rakshaks were actually involved and charged. But those 3 case were each headlines of the media for a week. In the same duration, 27 members of RSS were lynched and murdered in Kerala between 2015-2019. Even one act of lynching is abominable and should be strictly acted upon but the problem is that these same people who would highlight the word "Gau Rakshak" despite no direct connections of those criminals as Gau Rakshaks. But 9 times higher people die in lynchings for just being RSS workers, some even hanged on the tree with an open threat written in blood on those bodies, still you won't find one word on those deliberate crimes. They can go to any extent to defame Gau Raksha Organisations but won't open their mouth if the victim is of RSS. Why? Don't ask me. It seems life of 3 people is more valuable if they are victims suitable to one narrative. 2. Other thing about Kanwar Yatra is straight up lie where this delusional comedian calls those devotees Gunda with no shame. Kanwariya Yatra is done by entire families including women and children. They walk bare footed with a lot of things like Flags, Pandals and many other customary offerings. Last year, there were 6 such incidents in Muslim majority areas where they faced stone pelting. But for this delusional man, seems he saw one news heading about Kanwariya Yatra and assumed the whole incident in his mind. I don't defend those who break law but such misappropriation and inappropriate emphasis on issues is the worst thing that is happening in India these days.

Your arguments are just personal attacks and insinuation without any base whatsoever. That shows a lack of critical thinking and inability to make up your mind on the basis of facts. I have given NCRB stat from 2015-2019. You have not given any factual argument to support your point of view, instead attacked me personally without any knowledge about me. Alright, just give me one fact to support your claim that "Most Gau Rakshaks are Goons". Better be a person who lives with the truth. There were 3 incidents in which Gau Rakshaks were indulged but there have been many dozen people killed in Bengal for being a member of a different party, there have been 3 incidents of entire villages being forced to migrate from their ancestral lands due to communal mob violence. I am not saying those Gau Rakshaks who are guilty should be spared, they are bloody criminals that they should be treated like that. But the fact is there are more serious problems of mob lynchings in Bengal and Kerala and nobody can prove this wrong on factual arguments. To highlight one incident for weeks while skipping the other more gruesome and disturbing incidents to a 5 minute news clip, is an injustice to the victims. All you are doing is insinuations and personal attacks, rather open your mind and then make up your mind. It's your choice, be a rational human being or behave just like those bhakt, the label people like you give to die-hard Modi supporters.

@bishoprook2616 No brahmins can do anything against any Dalits. Go and read the SC/ST act. It essentially gives SC/ST people the right to case against any casteist remark or action. The accused is immediately arrested on non bailable offence. There are more cases of misuse of SC ST act the real one. I for one, am a witness to 3 such cases where someone has been arrested due to misuse of SC ST act for the sake of business advantage, village politics angle, and to claim compensation. 2. Brahmins don't matter anymore. Everyone is equal and has equal rights.
