His movies cinematography , lighting ,sets ,costume , dialogues and ofcourse music is top notch

Agreed, he never used vulgar scenes even when in movies where usually it's acceptable to have them. It's a very clean series. Only issue is some actors were terrible and the story needs improvement.

I don't understand what is soooo honourable in being a high class prostitute??? The irony in this series is the Nawabs and British officers whom all the courtesans rendered their service and fought to be their mistress, actually abandoned, betrayed and ruined all the courtesans in Heeramandi. That was the climax of the series. Nobody stood by them, protected them, lend a helping hand to them. Accept for Tajdar who saved Alam during the riot, protected her, gave her shelter, offer to marry her, fought against his own family for her. That is the difference being a mistress of one night stand and True love.
