Saniflo Compact Toilet
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
We installed the Saniflo compact toilet in Carpinteria, CA. It is great for a half bathroom application. The Sanicompact toilet has two flush modes including the eco mode. The toilet sits on top of the macerating unit and is not noisy.

Pretty nice
Recommend you install a GFI outlet
It’s actually a bad idea to caulk your toilet to the floor. If there’s a leak, or the toilet shifts on the seal, you won’t know until it rots through your floor. Same for tubs
Great.! Does this system fits Over the Old Toilet Sewer Hole? Do you have to make Any Special Adjustments to the hole for this Toilet system???
I just bought one off amazon and plan to install it next week in my basement. I am REALLY hoping this thing works well.

How is it working?

@@lapchurng So far it has been a year, plus. No issues and it works great. Just remember to follow the installation instructions and do not drop any other sanitary objects but the toilet paper to the toilet.
Would this work in a trailer? Thinking of converting my cargo trailer to a rv travel trailer
How did you connect the water hose to the water supply? What size is it?
No shutoff valve on the drain for future repair? The vanity also requires a valve and a check valve if it's connected to the toilet as well. I'm not sure about the codes in your area but here and many places a back water valve is required on any drain a macerating system ties into. It's even worse where I live because a back water valve is required and the drain has to be the last thing on the line. If you are in a basement and your line has to go up and then back down a vent is required at the top of the drop to prevent air locking. But at a minimum there should always be service valves on the drains to make it possible to remove the toilet if the lines are full of sewage.
Just installed everything is good except at end of pump cycle, sounds like pump is cavitating, or possible qater hammer from supply line.water supply is good as 4c is replacing a 12 year old sanicomoact 48..is it possible the selenoide is not closing all the way?
Is it still working?

I used HydroMaxx 1-in x 25ft Schedule 40 White Flexible PVC Pipe. You can glue this stuff just like you would hard PVC Pipe

@kenj1862 - for your water inlet? Trying to decide if I could plumb this in with Pex..

@@MattPickering Yes absolutely I used PEX for the cold water Inlet! The other PVC pipe I referenced was for the waste

@@kenj1862 gotcha...I couldn't think of a reason not to use Pex, but the manual says "all pipe work should be either copper or solvent weld plastic (PVC, CPVC) Do not use flexible pipes" Wasn't sure if PEX counted as flexible pipes. ..
No where can I find how it gets finished at the wall behind the toilet? Is there just a big hole in the sheetrock? you help greatly appreciated!

What are you going to do to stop your toilet sounding like a plane taking off? What is that - 100 decibels?

I do some gnarly huge turds from time to time.. Will this handle it?
Always gets clogged, and from time to time I have a really bad septic smell. Not sure if it's coming from the sink that's hooked up to the toilet or the tiny cheater vent that's built into the toilet. So my kids use it as an emergency toilet. I just see it as a huge waste of money.
Does it make noise when pumping out the greywater from the sink?

Well I think it would have to the pump needs to run in order to drain
only problem with your installation is you never use caulking on a toilet
Convenience seems great for this unit. But they all seem to loud AF. I guess you can’t have it all 🤷♂️
