Progress on the new housing and Sandy Lane Relief Road on 28th Jan 2024.
The SLRR is due to be completed in March 2024, but progress has been minimal since my last video. The existing road was closed in June 2023 and has meant a huge detour for both residents and lorries accessing Lodge Farm Industrial Estate. It has caused lorries to detour via residential areas and residents flooding the nearby village of Harpole in order to reach the M1. The completion of this road cannot come soon enough!
