No, he needed to go for the confirm because 99% of players will not dodge straight in there. He could have confirmed it better but waiting on stage would have done nothing because there would be no pressure, meaning Yuz can just get back for free.

I understand a lot sandstorm realized he needs to hit more and maneuver he’s speed more but as good as yuz great sword is it’s hard for sandstorm to comprehend he’s greatsword which having to make sandstorm hit twice as more and him using battle boots was good at first but he’s gantlents was way better

The thing about sword is the amount of coverage from the swing to recovery frames is insane as you can throw out attacks faster than scythe. Also you people keep throwing out the term GOAT on every player that pops off...

It’s not passive, it’s knowing when to play aggressive and when not to, he plays aggressively when it actually makes sense to do so and not randomly for no reason.

@@jei4682 Tbh greatsword is really good too and most people arent used to fighting it you still have to be smart to play it. I would say the first matches were worse cause i think scythe and lance really counter greatsword and sand still lost

@@statics1 it does lol scythe players can spam down air and even if i press uplight before them (yes i watched the replays) they still get the first hit and greatsword isnt the best aerial weapon. The only thing i can do to stop is to spam aerials since non of my grounded attacks can do anything

Yuz’s gameplay is OBJECTIVELY MORE IMPRESSIVE in almost every single way here. The fact that you only see it as “playing like a bitch” simply means you can’t comprehend or appreciate just how mindblowingly skillful and smart Yuz played. Sandstorm literally spammed on Arcadia last time, playing aggressive isn’t harder the majority of the time bro.
