Thanks to Jordanian beatboxer Abood Aladham fohis lighthearted interview of Sandra Palomar, who will be performing at the Arabesque Mini Festival on the 14th of May 2022 at the Sugar Club, Dublin. She says: "Music and Dance is a bridge to the culture, regardless of background, it brings us together".
About Sandra; she is a flamenco dancer, choreographer, teacher, personal trainer and a physical therapist. She was born in Granada, Spain where she started dancing at the age of 7 and started her career as a professional dancer at the age of 18 with the ‘Boston Flamenco Ballet’.
Sandra toured several countries performing and learning about cultures, among them; the USA, México, Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador, Egypt, India and Ireland. She further pursued an education in Art History, Nutrition, Endocrinology, Physical Therapy, Ayurvedic medicine, Rishikesh and Sport Science.
She has given many talks about Alandalus Spain and flamenco history and culture. She also organises flamenco shows in Ireland and Spain, and currently she teaches flamenco and is preparing for another show happening soon
