This is my favorite floor performance of all-time. The excitement from the crowd as this was Sandra's new floor debut along with the music and her execution... capped off with a stuck final pass. Gives me chills!

This is so refreshing to watch. Sandra has once again surprised the world. Who would've thought she would be doing a Cheng vault (in 08 there was no 2nd vault) and now this hard 6.5 floor routine? She combines the grace and power subtley. It's exquisite work. Everyone in the world right now has very powerful music. Sandra doesn't. She doesn't need to powerful music. She has the calming music because she IS the power. I will not be surprised if this floor routine wins Olympic gold. Brava, Sandra.

I really like this routine!! I know some people don't like the choice of song but I think it's lovely, this is such a unique routine! Why some people find it boring I don't understand. I think it's calm and cool and different, showcasing some amazing tumbling. Grace and power can be combined, and Sandra proves it. I hope she wins FX gold.

Amazing how she got gold at vault a few minutes ago! Maroney was so full of herself and everyone was so so sure USA will take the gold! She's simply great!

According to Bitang it´s very difficult to choose between so many good gymnasts,but Iordache is for sure one for AA,the second one could be Bulimar,this girl showed a great level on beam and floor during europeans,her Vt and Ub are good ( not exceptional).Certanly in London she will have increased her degree of difficulty on these apparatus.Imagine if Porgras had not retired! Iordache + Porgras in the AA.¡Fantastic! I miss Porgras so much...

She is so beautiful, and always has the best floor music. Sandra is my favorite gymnast and I live in the US. US gymnasts are overrated and have no artistic ability at all.

I really like Grishina. She's such a great gymnast.To bad that she doesn't trust herself. I was very sad for her when she fall from the beam this year at the Europeans. Komova is also good. i like her style. Mustafina is a great gymnast but she always gives me the feeling that she's picturing herself with the golden medal even if the competition haven't started, but still she's a great gymnast. I really like the Russian team !

I expect a close , very close battle between Wieber,Iordache,Komova,Mustafina or maybe Grishina (the new rule , two per country will raise a war inside the russian team) in the AA competition. Teams? Is not difficult to guess who will be in a fierce battle for medals. As for EF,i think Sandra has a big shot to medal on floor,i keep my fingers crossed she become one more time olympic champ on floor.¡Go Sandra! ¡Go Romania!

The jump after the second tumble will never grow on me though...so happy they'll supposedly be gone! Even so there are a few pieces of choreography and construction that are recycled from past years which feels unusual because she used to have completely different routines from year to year, and I was sorta expecting a spin but there's an extra leap instead so idk? Don't get me wrong because I LOVE this new set, but so close to the Olympics it still looks like it can be even better!

honey,you are way too subjective. I've been watching gimnatic competitions for over 20 years and Izbasa really deserved that gold.She was the best by far.I was also into gimnastic but not in those girl's league so I know what I'm talking.

It's a shame but I hope the best to her future endeavors. I probably would have favored Romania if she was still there but it will be difficult with such a deficit on bars. Even so, Romania out of all the teams is probably the more predictable team. We know they'll be consistent and reliable when it counts the most. With the USA, Wieber is a rock and probably the most consistent AA in the last year but everyone else in her team has consistency issues.

Romania will need to upgrade all their vaults to be competitive for a gold. But even then, they would have to rely on China, USA, and Russia to make major mistakes and hope that Romanian consistency stays true. Their Uneven bar weakness has become so apparent since the score system changed. With Porgras, they would have had a dominant team beam score with a very good bar score to compliment Iordache. She probably would have contributed 1.5 - 2 points for Romania.

Russia, you have 3 potential stars who could dominate the field but all are having consistency issues. Mustafina hasn't been herself since injury, Komova looks like she's adjusting to her new body and height (quite apparent in her beam apparatus) and Grishina whose been quite inconsistent since turning senior. And with China who knows what. They have the SV to do it. But without the homefield advantage will that lose some of their motivation?

Iordache and Izbasa are doing AA. Probably Chelaru will be in contention as well, but I dont see her getting a better score than Izbasa.

WOW!!!! The second pass had an amazing end to it! and the third one, if she can punch right into the tuck would be amazing!! Why is everyone talking about the US and Russia... Romania is clearly a huge threat... as always

Anyway, the score obtained by each of them will determine who advance to AA.But sometimes coaches decide who takes the next step ¿Remember 1992 ,Galieva and Gutsu? Fortunately coaches were right and Gutsu won gold , but that was unfair for Galieva.However trainers had alleged Galieva was suffering from an injury.Many did´nt believe that statement.

It's obvious that you are ALLOWED to do as many tumbling passes as you wish, such as 5, 12, 87. But, as Luizitcho said, only the first four will count for your d-score.

Can she even hear the music?? This choreography could be to ANY music. Same silly mechanical jumps and robotic moves. Fantastic score. Such a shame she didn't feel it (or whoever choreographed it).

no that is COMPLETELY false. You are allowed to have as many tumbling passes as you want. but only 4 can count.

@kundun5 Why? They're both rather exceptional routines, both show musicality that's apporpriate to interpretation of their respective music, and they both show two different styles of elegance. Grishina is prestine while Izbasa is quite sensual without being overt like bogi.
