I was nearby at the Halcyon by Rex almost 5 years ago, we used to walk by Sandals every day, looked amazing. I loved the reserved lounges by the beach with the coolers. I think the Halcyon was slated to become a Starfish with Sunwing? We did the circumnavigated cruise around the island with Wadadli tours and met an independent tour guide at our resort through the activation director and he took us around the island. Was on Nov 1, a national holiday. I hope to get back someday

There were bunch of boats. We didn’t see anyone snorkeling 🤿 at the sandals beach area

We are leaving this Sunday for a week’s stay!! It will be our first visit to a Sandals property. Do you have any advice or suggestions?

The Italian restaurant can be crowded and sometimes waiting can be over an hour. I didn’t see any. They may have some but the person who gave me the tour (he was from sandals) didn’t mention anything about it

TFS. We’re booked for June 2023 in Mediterranean village. Was it a long walk to the beach or pool from Med village? Also was it hard to get pool or beach chairs if u not Butler level? TIA

It's a short walk to the beach and pool. We were able to find a Beach chair /pool easily. Other than the main pool, there are many other small pools where most of the time, no one is there. So, you can literally have the whole pool to yourself. I hope you have fun there. If you want to tour the island, I can give you the number of the guy who took us around.
