Definitely better than that Jujutsu Kaisen sack of crap from January. Also, to say Toriyama-san effected the lives of many is really an understatement. This man literally shaped pop culture with his works! RIP Toriyama-san, the world will NEVER forget you.

Akira Toriyama's passing was indeed heartbreaking. I cried during the last few pages of DBS.

The demo being just for exploration and combat doesn’t help show how good this game is ACTUALLY going to be

I didn’t read Sand Land until after Toriyama’s passing and I absolutely loved it. I am getting this game day one.

This game looks amazing!

I'm very happy that they released the demo because, being a fan of the Manga and now the anime, I was a bit afraid... But oh boy, it's everything I hoped and more. It was the easiest pre-order I did in a lot of time. I won't lie, the Toryiama san nostalgia had a big role in it. Still I don't believe I'll regret it. Cheers to everyone from Portugal 🇵🇹

I'm honestly mind blown that one of Toriyama's shorter works (14 chapters) is getting adaptations of the high order given that short mangas with the same amount of chapters usually do not get adapted at all Hope the game truly delivers the hype and doesn't end like Sonic 06

The Sand Land manga is one of Toriyama's best. Right under Dragonball and Dr. Slump.

The game is beautiful

Reminds me of Metal Max Xeno. A great, if not quirky, under appreciated game.

This is gonna be a sleeper hit.

Looks nice but.... I see nasty frame drops. Not a good sign, and for all those who say this is just a beta... Optimizations will most likely come POST release.

It's really too bad the demo was so god awful. I bet because of it a lot of people will skip this game that is genuinely turning out to be a hidden gem type game.

What will make or break this game for me is the feel of the vehicles' traversal and combat abilities. That was the one thing that DBZ Kakarot was worst at (its vehicles had awful controls so I always preferred to fly everywhere instead); I was ok with everything else so will likely find fun in the similar systems here as well.

Yeah it was boring but I feel like that was because the quests and even exploration was turned off. You could just get a feel of how a few of the vehicles and combat works.

Who cares about them? Most of those critics aren’t even gamers, and will only complain about stuff that don’t matter.

I mean this in the best pay possible. This looks like a game that would have been on dreamcast. Not the graphics, but the idea and concept. Its like a mix of evolution 2 and e.g.g.

Seems like there is a severe lack of music in the game. Not really a fan of that. It needs more atmosphere...

Kind of *wish* there was a Switch version. We *might* have wait until after the Switch 2 comes out, and even then we might have wait into two or three years after.

I was interested in this game but due to how Bandai Namco is is screwing over the uk with Gundam breaker 4 I am not going to get this for now

However this game still isn't for me.

I know it's called SAND land, but the demo did not convince me. I get that it's a desert, but there was NOTHING to see or do, and it honestly reminded me how bored I was in Fallout 3's equally stale world.

@@BrandonDenny-we1rw I’m glad you said “the worst way” because melee combat was absolutely useless in the demo, since all enemy soldiers use guns and you do more damage with your mechs. Literally no need to be on foot, in or out of combat.

Demo left me disapointed and i think it makes gamę look bad and boring.

The manga was very mediocre at best and is over 20 years old. Love Toryama, but after Dragonball, there was nothing else worth of note. He is a rightful legend for sure, though.
