The first hurricane of the 2024 season was Alberto, male name. Beryl is this one, female. If we have more hurricanes this season, the next are Chris, male; Debbie, female; Ernesto, male; Francine, female. They switch back and forth between male and female, every other one.

BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES! I just feel that there is a purpose for you 2 and you're going to be okay. Some good downpours and strong winds but nothing like the strong hurricanes. Thank you Lester for straightening out the proper pronunciation of Beryl. It's pronounced like BURR. I wrote the same thing elsewhere as it drives me crazy to hear everyone saying like barrel. I can't take it anymore lmao It's Burr same as for Beryl Ives. Think RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER voice over of Sam the. Snowman and wrote and sung Silver and Gold and Have a Holly Joly Christmas. My family used to listen to a lot of his music like A little Bitty Tear Let Me Down and I remember singing "It's Just My Funny Way of Laughing" hahaha

I've been in an RV in a Texas thunderstorm so I'd agree, Jami. Our dog had enough and opened up the makeshift door divider was so cute. He had enough and wanted Mom when I told him it's okay. It's one of the last year or so memory with both parents alive. It was up at the old cotton gin RV park. Mom would meet the nicest people up around Quanah. One rancher insisted parents come hook up and said just follow him. Mom said it was one long road after another, giggling. I did not have the ranchers information to let him and wife know both parents have passed now. They'd stayed in touch. It was such a nice Texas story and how people used to be so nice back years ago.

Please be safe Lester and Jami and hope all the animals are going to be safe and your family and their animals be safe as well
