there's only a handful of singers who can express words in the popular music era and he's one of them.🤌

Every once in a while we forget a legend, and the internet reminds us...👏

I saw Terence live during the time of Symphony or Damn. At the time I loved Introducing the hardline... The thing that most surprised me was what an incredible musician he was and not "just" a big ego with an incredible voice. The concert started with him tuning his guitar, the drummer counted off and they started (She kissed me). That same concert he drummed, played guitar and piano, and he was just the most humble person I did not expect him to be. It was one of the most memorable concerts I've seen to this day. Terence (Sananda) had a place in my heart then and still does today. His voice is so unique. Even though he's not one of the "greatest" of that time (like MJ or Prince) I take solace in the fact that his fans (like me) know he is.

He makes it seems easy, but this vocal is tough and amazing. I put Sananda up there with the the greatest singers like Harry Nilsson and Otis Redding. Like Nilsson his cover versions are great. Thanks for posting this.

Agree, his sacrifice was well worth it. , he practically stepped aside so Michael Jackson and Prince could do their deal, been a humble man paid off, it always does.

He's gorgerous.I love his performances . He's the Liion King.

I would have to have him sing to/for me everyday, raw with no instruments. That... would be heaven on Earth!

Ooh my goodness, I just realised this a Beatles cover. Every time he makes a song his own, with his own personal stamp. Just love him!

I have a couple hundred record albums that I had stored away. I’m saving them for my niece who is waiting for her new home construction before collecting them. I was going through them yesterday, picking out a few to keep and came across The Hardline According to Terence Trent D’Arby. Definitely a keeper! So glad to see he’s still active and sounds as good as ever. Going to add him to my playlists.
