Este trabajo se ha realizado con el objetivo de educar, enseñar y ampliar los conocimientos de todos los religiosos, docentes, músicos, artistas y estudiantes de aquellos interesados ​​en estudiar y aprender las danzas, la música y la religión afrocubana, ya que la música, el canto y la danza son tres elementos inseparables de esta cultura.

Babalú-Ayé es un Orisha fuertemente asociado con la enfermedad infecciosa y la curación. El nombre Babalú-Ayé se traduce como "Padre, señor de la Tierra" y señala la autoridad que este Orisha ejerce sobre todas las cosas terrenales, incluyendo el cuerpo, la riqueza y las posesiones físicas.
El secreto de la danza afrocubana está en desarrollar el sentimiento interno de los cantos y ritmos que se relacionan con cada danza y estilo.

Babalú-Ayé is an Orisha strongly associated with infectious disease and healing. The name Babalú-Ayé translates as “Father, lord of the Earth” and points to the authority this orisha exercises on all things earthly, including the body, wealth, and physical possessions .
The secret of Afro-Cuban dance is developing the internal feeling for the songs & rhythms that relate to each dance and style.
This work has been done with the objective of educate and expand the knowledge to all those interested in Afro-Cuban dances since music, singing and dance are three inseparable elements of Afro Cuban culture.These songs have been transmitted orally from generation to generation and that is why there are many versions . These translations have been retrieved on the basis of information from researchers, master musicians, singers, As Patrice Banchereau whom I want to thank for such a good job and others, in Afro-Cuban culture.
