I found your music a few weeks ago and watched some of your vids, you've become a big inspiration for me. Thanks for showing us the project it helps a lot for me and probably a lot of people who are learning. lift me from the ground quickly become a favorite of mine. Your songs inspired me to make this track I did with Romy Wave, Feather. Of course I'm not trying to steal your wave I just really enjoyed the style of music you've been creating. It'd mean a lot for me to hear your thoughts on the song, music has been such a difficult journey for me. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYeom7KHmdDIhtY.html

He likes to keep it simple, that's why he remembers it so easily, it's great to see that you don't need a huge complex patch to make a really great song, he uses just enough for it to have a great effect.

Dude, You guys have done so much for the producer community. You guys are gonna be legends. Definitely learned a lot from you guys content. Appreciate it!
This video has totally inspired me to start music production. Been producing for about 5 months now and love it. Thank you San
So crazy how the sounds he uses blend together. Some of those sounds I would have never even thought of using, but he layered them so well and it sounds amazing. Very helpful and inspiring video
Amazing deconstruction workshop, guys! Thanks a lot for San putting this out with such an open heart to the community. Really appreciate! Gems everywhere. Good job, Cymatics!
Always a treat to see an artist so hyped on their own content. Every classic piece of music is a gift from the eternal, to witness this level of gratitude is inspiring.
Amazing workshop! So much useful information here. The section on bussing is brilliant and I had never thought to do that. It's also interesting to see Sander go counter to a lot of EQ tutorials out there. Lots of boosts and not many cuts. Really interesting! And the sound design tutorials were phenomenal. Can't wait for more like this!!!
This is so awesome, thank you so much for making this available for everyone. Love you guys
Thank you San!!! I appreciate you trying to help us out. 🙏
This is amazing, love seeing insights into my favourite artists workflow and techniques, so inspiring 🙏🏼♾❤️
Love love love this!!! Took some great notes. Thanks as always San
Thanks to both San & Cymatics for putting this workshop together. The mastering portion really helped me get better control over my low frequencies and percussion. Thanks a million. :)
San Holo makes producing and sound design so approachable, I really appreciate the fact he’s taken time to do these videos, literally binging all the information I can get from these kinda uploads from him , what a beast
THANK YOU SAN! Such workshops are so blessed

I highly appreciate it when big names intend to help us, beginners, out. Such workshops are so valuable; they really are. P.S: God bless that drop snare from "Light" . And if only San included that "swirl" sample in the pack you guys released, it would've been so cool 😂😂😂

As much as I love San, this was just a marketing opportunity for him. All the Cymatics team wants is your email so they can sell the fuck out of that shit. They blow up my feed with ads and shit with workshops from Kompany, and other artists like San, yet it's pretty obvious all they want to do is get your email out of it lmao

True that, I've watched three times the song is so simple a base idea the layers and plug-in sound design just blow it out the water
This was so inspiring and refreshing tutorial! Thank you so much, San!!
Sander is a musician's musician. Totally off the wall, random and all over the place. I love it. I wasn't sure if this video would really deliver but DAMN. Ton of nuggets, like the trick of reverbing a sample on a separate track (if you have the CPU to spare....) and Autopan basically as a sidechain. I was also blown away by how simple the synths are. He nailed it when he said something to the effect of "the little changes in detail are what make all the difference to me". Well done Cymatics, well done.
Amazing been waiting since he deconstructed one thing for another video for another one of his tracks! So helpful
the part with the chords and drums together is really insane :) best regards from Germany
Awesome stuff as usual! Thanks Cymatics and San.
Thanks for doing this guys, this was awesome! Main takeaways for me so far: 1) Separating actual audio from reverb to EQ individually. 2) How to use sends for mastering.
Thank you so much dear sweet teacher San, this was SO helpful!! I learnt heaps! Much love to you
Thank you so much San Holo and Cymatics! Can't wait to learn how to produce music myself!

Wow sounds so simple but looks so advanced 😄 I still like the sound and big probs for the work! When i heard the song first (i think it was late 2016 or early 17) it was a mindblow. And it starts all with We Rise ❤️ Love that Guy.
Such a cool guy! It's always a pleasure to have a look inside an artist work of art :)
Mr. Holo, thanks for sharing. You rock! Picked up so many tips from this workshop.
This makes me see how the simplest sounds blended together can create really powerful unique sounds.. thank you for sharing. This makes me wonder what combinations i can make with my arsenal of sounds
Wow this is awesome. Learned so much. Please keep doing these!
throughly enjoyed that workshop. Learned a lot. I will most likely watch it several more times after I try a few of his techniques.

I learned a ton from this walkthrough! Thanks for sharing the knowledge. Felling inspired now
Some good tricks here. Best thing I got out of this video was keeping it simple with sound design.

Its so inspiring to know that all it really takes is a really good understanding of your program and plugins. After that it comes from pure creativity and using those tools in a way that sounds good. Its intimidating opening fl studio or ableton for the first time and going holy shit what does any of this do. It takes time and effort to master but skrillex and san holo show what mastering your craft can really do.

I really benefited from this ... you are really talented and underrated. Keep it up!
Awesome insight into the process, I think the most amazing part of it was how you use mainly stock Live plugins to mix and design your sounds. Impressive! Would have loved to see your arrangement process/choices as well as the theory. Thanks!
Absolutely love this track, such a banger
Light just needed more cowbell all along lol i never would have picked that out. You're awesome man, much love, thanks for sharing!
Thank you cymatics !! this was really helpful!
I really enjoyed the eq techniques and how he uses them to make his sounds sound amazing. Sometimes there can be soo many guides and rules to an eq and your just like "maybe I shouldn't do that" but that's not the case at all! If it sounds great do it such as what he did with the kick and snare. Thank you!
Thanks for the video, it helps a lot to learn from your favorite artist! :)
Thank you guys 🙏
Cymatics i fkin love you guys for this !!! Also thanks San for breaking down such a great song : )
Really enjoyed the tips and the tune. Thanks!
This is so good. I really love how he used auto pan to create stutter effect. I never would have guessed that plug in had that feature. This completely blew me away.
always love you cymatics!! and san holo too!!
Damn San your bussing trick for a clean mix is fņ great!!
Been waiting for this
Wow this was massively helpful to show the power of Ableton! What a great find! Thanks San HOLOOOOO. I didn't know what half the plugins were for !!! hahah
Thank you so much! You are such a great person as a great musician...
I learn the most from "Full Song" Walkthroughs" THANK YOU San holo!
So dope. Just when I wanted to say “bless you” for sneezing, you drop the “blessed” 808. 🤣😂
This was great!.. more more lol!! Thanks San Holo and Cymatics team! :)
Really dope sounds thanks for inspiration and for sharing!
I love the honesty about how simple the sounds are to make. I tell my students this all the time- the actual melody/harmony/rhythm you compose will almost always play a bigger role in the music than the sound design. But it's when you get all that AND the sound design on point that, you'll have something special on your hands. Also love seeing this 10y/o synth (Massive) still being used in popular music. Don't fix what ain't broke!
@Skrenja
4 жыл бұрын
Torbjørn Agree to disagree? There are many genres where there is hardly any melody. Many songs would fall apart if it weren’t for good sound design. Take the classic song “Pump” by Valentino Khan. Extremely minimalist melody, just good rhythm, sample choice and sound design on the bass. If that track had mediocre sound design it would be absolute garbage. Just play it on a piano and see how it sounds lol.
@innavision1920
7 ай бұрын
Sound design has become almost more of a flex in recent edm than melodic structure. The thing that blew my mind most about sound design is that the simplest waveforms - sine,sq,saw create the best sounds, then you may tweak it into textures with other waveforms/fix etc. but it’s the basic shapes that are most powerful. But in the end yeah you’re right when you get both sound design and melody mixed perfectly into a track it is next level unparalleled

such a great masterclass!
he actually opened the project in 2018 guys, just loaded now...
love this man and his epic beard lol thanks for this Cymatics team
San holo: Now, let's go to the real part. Build-up: am I a joke to you ¿
Really really inspiring. You should do more of these
It's great to hear the amount of dynamic range that all the instruments have, it sounds almost the same as the mastered song, not to mention that the transients haven't been adjusted at that point. Unlike any producer who's been at it for 6 months, he's less concerned with over-compacting the sounds, and it's great.
I've been waiting this for so long...
So inspiring!! Thanks san and cymatics ;)
Awesome watch, big ups to San for this!!
