Love this video. It's like being home for a tour of the City. Not just the tourist hotspots, but cable car rides through the city, giving me a chance to see the City they way I often saw it, riding the Cable Car. A little touch of, what for me, will always be home. Lived there from 1976-1998. Still miss it, so much.

I was stationed at Travis AFB back in the 70s and went to San Francisco many times. It was an exciting place to be for a 20 year old kid from Michigan. I'm almost 60 now and have been all over the world but this was definitely the best time of my life.

Speaking as a San Franciscan, I Love this City. I wouldn't change it for anything. It always has such a great vibe. Thank you for the upload!

Come in Oct. or November. NO fog on the bridge. Awesome sunsets there. Another world. Warm. Drive down the coast to Carmel.

My desire, my dream, my ultimate goal!!!! though it is impossible but still I must have to make it possible!

I have really feel in love with this wonderful city, and it all started by watching " The Streets of San Francisco" and looking up the filming locations on Google Earth.

I have been to SF and it is one of the most interesting cities in the world. What caught my attention were two things: 1. The eco friendly buildings and 'row of houses' 2. The roads going up and up from the main roads. Would like to visit again!

Thank you for the wonderful video. This is my home but sharing it through your lens and eyes brought great joy. You must come back to visit to see the changes. North Beach Library has been ripped down and replaced with a new one this year along with other changes. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Best City in America by a mile.If you are English like me and looking for somewhere to visit in the States then this is a must.Very friendly people and really laid back vibe to the place.I remember the first time visiting and seeing the pastel coloured bungalows travelling along the freeway from the airport.I knew then that this City is special.Verything about San Francisco is great.The view from the trolley ride down to Fishermans Wharf is amazing.Great place go see it.

Been there last year. Really cool to see all the places we visited again. THX for the nice video.

My favorite part is the trolley ride at night--looks very relaxing.

Thank you so much for this video tour of San Francisco. It takes me back to when I was 19-21 an airman stationed outside Sacramento and visited San Francisco so many times as a young gay man when it was still illegal to be gay and military. It was 1971-1973. I well remember watching the sun come up on many a summer Sunday morning over the city skyline near the Golden Gate Bridge wrapped in the arms of the man I loved. I visited the city again in April 2002 and got to see the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus live in concert in the Castro. Thank you for this wonderful trip down memory lane. I am now 64 years of age and hope to be able to visit your city again before this HIV makes it impossible to travel.

I live in S.F Many parts of it never get old. If you do anything, you need to walk from the base of Grant St. all the way through Chinatown, and wind up in North Beach. No other city in the U.S. has a Chinatown like S.F. Once up into it, you can continue north by stepping into the narrow side streets where no cars are allowed, and then at the next block, walk that half block back down to Grant. The best weather is in October, but it can continue through November. With non fog at this time of year, you want to take your rental down the coast. Or up the coast. And do it on a weekday. No traffic. Eat at Picaro across from the Roxie theater on sixteenth St. (Not Avenue) Very bohemian place, with ultra cheap dinners. Don't drive in the city. Try the Minestrone at Cafe Puccini on Columbus in North Beach. Very central. Cafe Trieste has unreal coffee. Try it as an Americana,black, with a pastry. Definitely take the Golden Gate bridge...somewhere! Go north to the wine country...and do that on a weekday. Napa isn't my thing. Try Healdsburg. Then out to Dry Creek for some real boutique wineries....especially the Raymond Burr winery. Great Cabernet Franc. Bring a lunch. Definitely reserve a table back in S.F. at Bix, on Gold St. for dinner...you can walk to it from North Beach. One of the truly great interiors of any restaurant in the city. Stunning. Don't go to Fisherman's Wharf. It's a tourist trap. But the views from Aquatic park to the west of the wharf are classic. Eu acho San Francisco city a mais charmosa e linda dos EUA, como eu gostaria de conhecê-la, pois é um sonho muito antigo mas infelizmente por razões financeiras, eu ainda não pude realizar o meu sonho de conhecer essa belíssima e charmosa San Francisco city, espero conseguir juntar os Dólares que preciso num tempo não muito longe para poder realizar o sonho da minha vida, pois quando assisto tanto em vídeo quanto em fotos da San Francisco city, eu choro por ainda não ter conseguido realizar tal sonho, mas eu creio em Deus que ele um dia vai realizar o meu sonho, um abraço a todos os cidadãos Americanos pelo qual eu tenho a maior admiração, respeito e apreço, fiquem todos com Deus.

I've been all over the world, to most major cities, but spent nearly 30 years in the S.F. Bay Area. Lived on the Coastside and worked in San Francisco. There's nothing like it. That's in my past now, though, and I live 2 states away, but most of my life was in California. I'm happier where I am now, though for these times! Thanks for the video and the memories!
