Thanks for showing SF how it really is. So many youtube vloggers go straight to the Tenderloin and downtown to highlight the homeless so their videos go viral and they get alot of subscribers. Yours show the city is not some dystopia wasteland full of zombies but a city alive with people at the Caltrain station, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, the waterfront and Ferry Building with locals and tourists alike, lines at the cable cars and SFs peak summer tourists season already has passed and they are still coming. Yes there's homeless and lots of shuttered stores but give it time😊

Aaaah this video shows some of the places I visited just a few days ago ❤️. Rode the cable car from Powell/Market to last stop at Beach St; then the park by the beach, the mermaid statue, Ghirardelli's, seafood lunch, walked along the piers, explored Pier 39, a 1h cruise tour, then the bus ride back to my hotel in Chinatown. 1:02:08 I regret not visiting the museum but unfortunately I had limited time. (I was visiting the US for the first time for a conference in Santa Clara and spent the day before & after in downtown SF.) Ironically, I think YT first recommended your channel to me because of the clickbaity title/thumbnail in some of your videos. Oddly enough, YT algorithm seemed quite adamant about scaring me away from visiting _any part_ of SF at any time of day by giving me sensationalised "doom loop" type of videos in a much larger proportion to the more ordinary/balanced takes 🤷. Anyways, wish your channel much success!

Nice to see the Embarcadero/Pier 39 is busy. Not quite pre-pandemic crowds for a Saturday in September, but I'd guess about 2/3 of normal. Powell/Union Square is decimated; probably 1/3 of normal. In the short term, the city has to schedule free weekly events to draw people in. Long term, they have to provide more incentives for small businesses to come back and start refilling all that empty commercial space. Great video!

San Francisco enjoys a very mild weather. lots of sunny days throughout the year.
