Fun fact: The Petting Kraal used to have deer and antelope instead of goats. This was changed in the early 2000s. Great video as always!

Thanks for sharing. I miss this place. I remember when it used to have the tram that went around the edge of the park many years ago when my family lived in San Diego. Would love to go back sometime soon.

There’s a bus that goes around the outside of the Zoo? I didn’t know they had one for the Safari Park, but I’d only just begun going around 5 years ago or so.

@@SoCalDisneyDad It was like a train tram ride on a track. They took it out many years ago.

We are going there on Tuesday. Doing a behind the scenes tour. Can’t wait

@@SoCalDisneyDad the tour was great.there were 8 of us on the tour. Our guide was very Knowledgeable we learned a lot. The cubby unicorns were so cute. We saw another tour that was filming the zebras,for Facebook. You guys would enjoy it very much.

The bird with the orange tuft on its head is the African crowned crane.

I would recommend going to Oakland Zoo. Are you going to do another zoo tour?

I will be traveling to the park later this week with family from abroad. So this will be their one and only visit to the park. I am wondering if we do the Africa Tram which is free, is it worth doing the cart Africa safari as well for a closer experience? Or should I do the asia one? Have you and the family done the wildlife safari and if so, do you think it is worth it? Thank you

The Asia safari takes you around a different enclosure than the Africa one and might be a better option to see more of the property and different types of animals. We have done the Deluxe Zipline and that had a 30 minute portion that went around the Asia plains and was very enjoyable.
