This is the best playoff Series since the 2016 World Series! This is what MLB is supposed to be all of the time!! It seems as though every play, every at-bat, every pitch, is of vital importance. From the first pitch to the last, Phillies vs Padres has been the best Baseball, the most exciting and fun Baseball that I have seen since that 2016 World Series. Admittedly I am a life long Cubs fan, and NOTHING will ever surpass that for me, but _this series_ is why people LOVE Baseball! Good luck Phillies! Good Luck Schwarbs!!!

Wish my Bronx boys played more like these Philly boys than themselves. Whiffing one after another gets old damn quick. Philly plays ball like they’re never gonna get another chance. That is how all playoff games ought to be played. The urgent imperative of NOW is not lost on this team. Hope they win and give Houston the series of their lives. That would truly be priceless.

Cubs fan here again... Just checking in to say, yet again, Congratulations to all Phillies Players, Coaches, and most importantly, the Fans! I don't really have a dog in this fight, so I typically will cheer for the team with the most ex-Cubbies, AND any team that plays and defeats: 1) The Yankees 2) The Cardinals 3) Every other AL Team (AL Baseball is just soooooooo boring!) Finally 4) If there are no ex-Cubs on a Playoff Team (very rare), then I will go for the team that is either the biggest underdog or hasn't won a Championship in the longer time span... Kyle Schwarber basically brings me directly to cheer for the Phillies. So.... BRING IT HOME, PHILADELPHIA!!!! YOU GUYS GOT THIS!!!!!!! End this in 5, then go destroy the Astros. NOBODY will be cheering for the Astros. Literally NOBODY outside of Houston.

Phils, all around, are playing solid baseball. On offense putting the ball in play and making things happen. Batters seem to be really patient at the plate. Picking that right pitch.

As a Padre fan I can’t understand why the hell Melvin would put Manaea in the game. He lives up to his 5.62 ERA! There were so many other options. Especially leaving Martinez in having not given up any runs. Managers don’t really do much but the decisions Melvin has made in this series have cost us each game. Game 1 not pinch hitting for Bell in the bottom of 9 and game 3 not pinch hitting for Nola. He was 0-3 on the night and 1-11 in the series. Then last night even Manaea looked surprised when he got the nod. Everyone is talking about how Bob Melvin turned this team around is complete bullshit. The team has done all the work!

Cub fan here cheering on the phillies, hope they win it all.

I hate that mascot. It's dumb. I'm rooting for Philly, but that mascot sucks. Imo their mascot should be one of the founding fathers in a huge, cartoon character colonial type outfit- bc of all the great history there in Philadelphia Their mascot makes zero sense; and its ugly n dumb :)

The team Mets embarrassed during the regular season, is shinning at the moment. SD needs to get off the canvas. Either way, Astros are too good, it's their year.
