I would like to see more themed waves come out. We didn't get any of the villains from the first Spiderman game and who knows from the second. It just makes the shelf look better when you can have a group of figures all from the same game or story line.

Fun conversation with Dwight and Ryan! Keep in mind, they could never reveal too much information in interviews like this. I also had other questions in mind like why no BAF in some waves, why card backs in waves, but with the craziness of SDCC, I failed to ask.

The "what do you think of this character for a new figure?" questions are useless. They end up offering no insight ir useful info and hust waste interview time. They always say something like "we're open to doing it in time."

Just wanna say thanks for keeping it fun and line release related a lot of influencers are getting a little hot and hostile trying to debate rising prices and quality over quantity.. and while that’s important it tends to spark a bit more toxicity than needed… thanks for asking about mcu stuff… I’m dying for whiplash, abomination, malaketh, and kycelious

Man, Shartimus tries to ask real questions and advocates for more value for the consumers and the community calls that “hostile.” Fucking absurd. That’s why the legends team rips us off. They take advantage of the cluelessness that dominates the community.

The problem is they aren’t able to answer questions like that, so by asking and trying to get any of that type of information out will just lead to nowhere and come out awkward. But to Shart’s credit he was way more prepared than I was for my interview. I had questions in mind, but with everything going on they just slipped my mind.

@@MCUcollector24 I get that they can’t talk to financial details and I’m not expecting them to. Honestly, I don’t care why their prices are rising. Even if I assume they have every good reason to do so, it doesn’t matter cuz it’s on them to convince me to spend my money. My issue is with the commenter that called Shartimus’ video “hot and hostile.” There’s plenty of people in this comment section saying the essentially prefer these kind of positive interviews, which is fine! A mix of positive and constructive is what we should all want. But for the people complaining… I just can’t believe it. Like we should be thanking Shartimus for demanding more for us as consumers but instead those very same consumers are calling Shartimus’ video “hostile.” That’s absolute absurdity.

hardly an interview, it's a discussion where you tell them what you want. Plus, if you give constantly positive feed back how can you expect the line to improve if all they hear is " good job"? For instance, why PS4 spidey price is higher than Black widow's ? (the one with the new ab crunch) it makes no sense, they are both newly tooled mold. Every company is gunning for our wallet, it's only fair to bring up prices even if it's make them inconfortable and yes, you can make this respectful, if in every interview they get, it is brought up, I guarantee you it is going to be addressed sooner or later

Good interview man. I know some may say shill but I do believe you have the voice of the many and not the few for fans. When I see others interview them it’s always like an attack on them as if they make final decisions on price and things and yours they seemed to enjoy rather than defensive. I’m more of a comic book guy who dabbles in mcu but loved the reveals and the videos man. Keep it up.

@@TCC62 I like his interview but I mean when the one guy keeps saying come on rus you know we can’t get into the price stuff and you keep asking I mean it does seem like there is a time and place for some questions and you should probably read the room. I have noticed his attitude for hasbro has changed ever since people starting calling him a shill. I never thought or think he is but I do feel he is going hard in the see I’m not a shill mode more that he ever was. Still love his content but he should just be himself and not cater to the minority. I mean they even mentioned “you might feel this way but others don’t” and they just seemed defensive when other years and previous years they would seem to enjoy his interviews where now they seemed like here we go. The one guy even had to say “ I know you ment it as a joke but we don’t hate comic fans we have to say this so they know”.

@@jonathanhodapp8735 it’s about the objectivity of prices and the low quality product they’re consistently throwing at us. The overwhelming majority of the community feels ripped off by Hasbro. Of course they don’t want to answer those questions. It’s about holding their feet to the fire and asking for a better product on behalf of the community. Some of you are so obsessed with positivity and consider anything constructive to be “negative.” We’re adults here. I know it’s hard to remember that since we all collect a line originally intended for children, but the way they responded was pathetic and unprofessional. It’s like their feelings were hurt the whole time. The fact that Dan had to point out that Shartimus was joking just highlights how sensitive they are. It’s just crazy to me how one of the biggest ToyTubers in the world is advocating for a better product FOR YOU to one of the biggest toy companies in the world and asking them to not wring your wallet dry. Yet you accuse him of “attacking” these guys that are hyper focused on profiting off of your naivety. That’s how you know the legends community is screwed.

@@TCC62 idk man I understand constructive criticism and I agree they were defensive the whole time but benefit is it to keep pushing when they say you know we can’t go down this road. To think they don’t hear the community complain about these things and only this moment they are hearing these issues is ignorant. I’m just saying it’s better to converse with constructive criticism and not confront and I feel that is how it was taken and obviously they took it that way too. That’s all I’m saying. Usually you should ask questions on the product and where we may go forward, what to expect, why did you pick this option and so on to go on a tangent the whole time about why are you tapping us on price and with crappy product and I would rather have a 1/3 of the figures for more money when that’s not realistic is not constructive. And to be in the toy making business he knows what tooling and deco cost he could be more like Kyle Peterson and use either his business knowledge in sales or this case knowledge in manufacturing a toy line to explain it. I love that he and others in this community are making a toy line but remember odious almost didn’t make it on Kickstarter for a $60 figure and his line didn’t start yet and he had to refugee it. I would come back and ask you make a toy line and are looking at $45-60 for figures you own the IP for. What would it look like if you sold it for $25. How many would you have to sell and if you can’t without BBTS buy some exc what would it look like for $25 vs $45-60. Not being a shill but I feel there could be a better way that’s all

Again, it absolutely baffles me that you’re trying to argue for Hasbro, against shart’s questions, when his questions were meant to emphasize that they need to either give us a better product or lower prices to match their subpar value. It honestly seems like you’ve been brainwashed. They’ve literally convinced you that they, Hasbro, a billion dollar corporation, need to be defended by you, the customer that they rip off. Congrats. You’ve been played. Not to say that you can’t like marvel legends or that you shouldn’t buy their figures. Not saying that at all. But for you to characterize Shartimus as “attacking” when he was advocating FOR YOU is absolutely absurd. You have lines like neca, action force, GI Joe, Jada toys, etc., etc., etc., that are clearly showing us that it’s possible to make good quality figures at reasonable prices. You don’t think Jada and neca pay a lot for their licensing fees? It’s because Hasbro is a publicly traded company and they have to please their shareholders, which is fine, I’m an investment banker and I’m all about pleasing shareholders. The problem is when the corporation is pushed towards squeezing as much profit as possible out of their consumers and they price out a certain portion of the community all for the sake of money. I can certainly afford it, but it’s about the broader economics of the situation. Hasbro has economies of scale, these other companies don’t. How is it that to answer your question about starting a toy line from scratch, Bobby Vala actually LOWERED the cost of his figures recently and is hyper focused on cutting costs FOR THE CUSTOMER. Regardless, your questioning and examples are irrelevant. You can’t compare Shartimus and Unparalled’s kickstarters to Hasbro. They’re regular guys with 9-5 jobs and DONT have economies of scale, nor the relationships with the factories, nor the resources that Hasbro has. Despite the fact that you have no real argument for the legends team, you’re still going up to bat for them. They’re lying to you and you’re willfully taking it on the chin.

Great interview. Some guys take this stuff way too serious when it’s supposed to be a fun hobby but some guys know drama is what gets the views. Thanks for keeping it classy and fun!

I'm much more of a comic person, but there are definitely some MCU ones I'd like to see. John C Reilly Rhomann Dey is the only Infinity Saga that immediately comes to mind. I'd mostly want She-Hulk adjacent stuff, like Yellow Daredevil, Titania, or normal Jen. Crystar looks awesome, and if he leads to either Rom or Weirdworld stuff I will be very happy.

Hoping to see all new figs pinless, still waiting for haslab blackbird, still waiting for Mespto that isn't a throw in to promote a failing haslab, would luv to see cloth wired capes on figs, would luv to see price drop in figs or add more accessories to justify price, more classic comic book figs and old school looks
