San Diego is a city in the United States of America, located in Southern California just north of the border with Mexico on the Pacific Ocean coast. Capital of the county of the same name, San Diego is the second largest city in California, after Los Angeles, and the eighth largest in the United States by population.
San Diego's climate is particularly mild; the cold currents coming from the north mitigate the hot air coming from the nearby desert and the surrounding mountains manage to block the perturbations. The result is a mild climate all year round, never too hot in summer and never cold in winter (in January the average temperature is close to 15°C)
