Grimlock got some drip for being a samurai 🔥😎

Nice figure... What surprised me is that the lower half of the Robot Mode is not a Folded Tail like most G1 Styled Grimlock.

That is true. These days G1 characters can be remastered with more complicated transformations. Even Optimus Prime and Megatron are not immune to the changes!

If their recent Drift was a "miss" then this is a huge hit. It looks amazing in both modes.

Idk I like the Drift figure..however compared to Lockdown and Grimlock it's a miss..still imo it's a fun lil figure..

I am so excited for this release! Iron Factory did exceptionally good work with the Daishogun! The only thing that’s a little off is how low the TRex arms are placed, but it’s not a significant criticism.

Iron factory not only impressed me with dynobots with cybertronian vehicle modes. Now this samurai version.. cant wait to see the samurai version of other dinobots..

I would love to see a version of this that Scales with the Generations and Masterpeice toyline

I have a bit of a minor issue with the lower jaw being split between the two legs. Makes the head stuck in a position like that. keeping the upper and lower jaw might be more beneficial, and considering in the robot form, the rex head is just a backpack.

Would be awesome if it was designed as a combiner and the dinobots combined into SHOGUN Volcanicus.

That would be the coolest thing ever, but I doubt it will happen. 3rd Parties these days barring a few are too into the MP line, meaning no creative flexxing

Soft ratcheted legs? Ab crunch? Butterfly shoulder joints? This might be as articulated as I.F.'s Ultra Magnus 2.0 but at even smaller scale. This is impressive. I only hope the conversion doesn't feel as fiddly like most of their samurai has been.

Didn't they just have one in Japan? I believe Transformers Go was that kind of series.

splitting the jaws and detaching from the skull seemed pointless, as the rex head is just a backpack.

They missed the opportunity to give him a Kanabo as a main weapon

The weeb and Grimlock fans in me are screaming rn.

Even though the mechanics are great, I wish they weren't making them classic size. I thought he was either going to be Voyager or Leader Class size

I don't remember this in TRANSFORMERS anywhere!

Interesting how the legs turn into the neck in this version....and amusing that poor Grimmie quite literally has his head up his a**. (More specifically, robot head hidden in the base of the dino mode tail.) :-)
