100% agree. whatever version of Adagio is played, we feel sad and uplifted at the same time, it's a brilliant cure to get us over tough times and stresses etc. I've loved this tune since the scene in the Elephant man film from 1981 up to the 90s when the Trance version was brought out. every version is amazing.

This beautiful music lifts your Heart and Soul , The great Gift of Spiritual Holy Music.

Having loved the original by Samuel (always has me in tears) and after Tiesto's good albeit faster paced remix this had me in tears, in the same way as the original. It's beautiful, one of those pieces of music that just defies all expectations. Sitting here eyes closed just listening, a perfect moment for me. saw platoon in theater and this was playing when Willam Defoe was running to the helicopter and being over ran by the vc, it was so sad people in the audience were audibly weeping.. that was many many years ago and it still affects me today when I hear this song

@@alanwisdom7777 No. I mean MDMA therapy. MDMA was being used by psychologists for PTSD, Depression, and Marriage Counseling therapy a full 10-15 years before raves even existed. That's why it wasn't even illegal til about '85. Pure MDMA has _highly_ therapeutic properties for sufferers of PTSD and clinical depression. Same with psilocybin mushrooms - which are slowly being legalized in America for this very reason. I used to DJ at raves though, so I've got nothing against that either. :)
