Thank you for this review, it is clear, informative and relative to all my doubts concerning the samsung washer dryer. I especially appreciate the explanation of the cycles and how the eco drum helps to remove bad odors, something that I need for the clothes of my two boys. The "add feature" is an amazing idea, for items I often find fall on the floor on the way to the washing machine- as well at the samsung home app to receive alerts when the cycle finishes. The details included in this review have really helped me understand how this machine can be used to its maximum performance, something that I highly appreciate as most sales staff do not know how their appliances work in such detail.

Have to agree fantastic video health explained a lot but ?! Is there a dust filter that needs to be cleaned and what about that little mesh filter that goes down the middle of a drum in the other washing machines

We just got the 7.5kg model today. We tested the ecowash cycle on about 5kg of underwear and everyday clothes. It took four hours and when I took them out, they were hot but still damp. I wonder what went wrong. So I left the underwear out and put back some of the clothes in the machine to dry for 30mins. Now I am not so sure if this is a good buy. :)

a question - when you run eco bubble soak, did you put detergent in the normal left hand detergent compartment on in the right hand side of pre-soak detergent compartment? if you didn't use the right hand side, when would you use the right hand side compartment, and which function will it require to use it from right side compartment for pre-soak? Hi great review. How would you compare the dryer to separate dryer? I would like to buy this one and put it in the closet (what about Heat?). But if separate is better then i will Just put washer in the closet and small candy dryer in the bathroom. But ofcourse it would br better to keep dryer out of small bathroom.

Hi I use the different samsung washer model but it has the same detergent drawer model. I always do prewash cycle on my laundry. Did you experience that youR liquid detergent on MAIN compartment dispense too quickly on prewash cycle?? If so..what did you do? Did you add more detergent when main washing is in process? Pls help..thx

Can you make it automatically dry after a wash?

I just bought this machine and removed the transport screws in the back as directed, connected the inlet and outlet pipes, caliberated it as you just did then started it. 3 min later, code 4C (check inlet filter) I also noticed that water is not running into the machine..what could be the problem?

I do think it should be mentioned that according to the manual all settings other than cotton, have a max load of either 2kgs or 4kgs (syncs 4kg, wool 2kg, baby care 4kg, outdoor 2kg) Very far from the 8kg max load I'd read about and expected. The manual also states the program time for complete operating cotton cycle, washing, spinning and drying to be 690 minutes. A full 11.5 hours! I queried this with Samsung to be told this is the case. As the max drying weight is 6kgs of WET washing, I'm not sure if the 11.5hours takes it into consideration that you would have to split the wet load in half to dry? Had I known any of this, I probably wouldn't have one in my kitchen waiting unused while I deliberate returning it or not :/ It sounds to me like I'm going to spend my entire weekends washing, and waiting. Do you not find this with yours?

Ah, thank you for the reply. I think the deciding moment for me was when it calculated 7hours 20mins for 2 school shirts. Luckily the company I purchased from were really lovely about it and agreed to a return when I gave them the stats. I hadn't realised that all of the AO reviews I based my purchase on were given free machines, so I know to look for this now. Keep up the good reviews, but as they are a deciding factor in whether people buy or not, limitations as well as good points should also be mentioned I think...

Does this have a heat pump dryer or is is just the condenser kind? because I've heard that condenser dryers aren't that effective since they take too long.

Our dryer does not get hot anymore after less than 2 years of purchase. Any idea which part to check or any DIY videos available here? Samsung's service center quoted approx $160 for the repair which is unreasonable. They did not opened the WM and just relied on the error code (HC error)

So how much noise does this thing make? Can I have it running in a washroom next to my bedroom while I work?

What’s the drying function like?

How do you clean the filter for the dryer. Where is it located?

I bought this machine yesterday and it will be delivered tomorrow. I have a slightly different model that unfortunately does not come with the Daily Wash program. When I wash my clothes, I do not separate colours or materials - for this would Cotton Wash or Synthetics Wash be more appropriate? I also notice the wash loads are rather lengthy - although, I am used to doing my laundry at the laundromat where wash cycles are only 25 minutes. All previous machines I have used had a 30 minute program for full loads. But I'll make this work I'm sure as I only need to do laundry once per week.

Does it have a heating element inside? Or hot water to be delivered from the outside?

Actually, it would have been interesting if you retried the test with hot water to see how much and whether it would have made a difference for the coffee and paint stains. :3

How to set the machine to do a handwash?

So I've got this one for about 2 years now, and I'd never buy it again, nor would I recommend it to anyone, it's a pain in the ass... I put in a hoodie and some underwear, did a wash+dry, didn't dry at all and gave an error, then I used thz dry option, was still soaking wet after the 4hr dry option, its still drying nox for it's 3d time, hoping I'll have a dry hoodie tomorrow

@@spidey2099100 Also, based on what I have read so far, you need to take the clothes out of the machine once the drying cycle completes, then need to hang them so they can air dry for a while.

also is it Possible to turn off all the dings and noises I think that will get on my nerves after a very short time

Is there a way to put it on and then take it out when it's all dry. I have this machine and... I struggle with it. It's new though, so I haven't really had time to fully examine it and work it out. I've found it very frustrating to use. Also, does it have 'crease guard'?

I think I have the same problem. I can’t never have the garments dry after washing. It’s always soaking wet using the auto drying mode. I’m speaking to Samsung customer centre. Did you figure it out finally?

the soap compartment it's supposed to be filled for several washes??? I have this machine and I fill the compartment once in a while but what I don't know is how to add soap for white clothes for example... so that would be for one wash only...

Can you plz help. i had a same machine 8k like you in my screen showing tha lock with the key its door always locked And even I want to change thA option from Eco super wash to rain+spin it's not going to to close frim a push ply botton need to open lock from bottom two botton temp - spin like lock push both then lock turn to off on showing the light then I can stop the option and change to onather it's very hard to do always . Can plz axplain can u remove this lock system. And only show the key light in saceen when the machine going to work . Thanks .
