The second 2008 and 2010-13 ones are nostalgic for me.. we had a Samsung tv with that startup sound when I was growing up (2009 to around 2016) I’m 17 rn and even tho we have a newer tv that we use.. we still have the 2009 one!

I used to use the 2009 TV for my old Windows 7 PC back then, nostalgia!

The 2010 one gives me chills... I remember as a kid going to sleep at my grandpa's house and he had this Samsung tv on his wall..and it sounds the same as i remember

I heard the 2003 version in my grandfather's house, and it was amazing. But it has been replaced with a Haier TV and the Samsung TV is inside somewhere in his room. Still works tho but doesn't have the shutdown noise.

i dident exist in 2003 but i grew up with a tv with that sound and it gives me memories

i still remember buying the first 2008, and i still have it plugged in to my living room (tv a bit different but it looks roughly the same)

0:57 my grandparents have a condo out east on long island that had this tv, we would go there a few times a year. It has been replaced by a newer samsung tv for about 2 years, but that sound brings back memories

The second 2008 was our tv for 13 years so it was a big part of my life, until last year, it gave up on us, and it would randomly shut off until it didn’t work at all then, we bought a new tv.

I had the 2010 one , bro when I used it I was always so happy cause the sound of startup and shutdown. We gave it to my grandparents cause I was getting a LG one but then the LG one went outside and our Samsung TV that was in the living room is now in my room. Also guys a tip if you have a Samsung 6 Series 56’ I think you need English only for the start up and shut down sound cause Spanish does not work. Also there is a dark mode and u have to make Iike an option that makes the start home black which in my opinion is cool. Also you will get daily updates if your language is on English on that TV.

My aunt had the 2008 TV, now it's grandma's TV and it's still working Our TV has no startup sound, but it's 2012, I know it

My family still owns a samsung tv( which is from 2011 and is a HD TV) that we bought in 2011 and it is still working in 2023. I also own a 2021 samsung TV/ monitor in my bedroom on my wall.

The second 2008 one, I’m in tears for what this meant to me as a child…

I have not heard a single samsung tv make any startup noises, and I have seen many. I guess they might have been a regional thing? I live in northern Europe for reference.
