Why do you think it's a good tip to make the already pretty insecure fingerprint lock mechanism even less secure? You're widening the chance of false positives. If someone prefers comfort over security they should disable lock screen security overall, at least then they know about it....

Guys, be careful with the one to delete data after 20 atempts to unlock. My father has a s20 fe and used this option. It so happened the he had the phone in his pocket and his hand was there also. So he was accidentally trying to unlock the phone and failing, because his hand wasn't positioned right. So yeah, he lost it all. So, beware

Fingerprint sensor stores one finger data per register. Using two finger in one register will ruin your finger data and hence lead to security issues. Some other finger which has somewhat similar fingerprint as yours will be easily able to unlock your device.

So many cool hidden features, thanks for putting them together especially the multi window for all apps.

Some great features. But you might want to mention how to return to default settings if you want to remove the feature. This is my first smart phone so I'm still learning how all the features, and functions work. I haven't used a mobile phone since the clam shell back in the mid-2000s, before the iPhone and apps existed.

Use routines to unlock phone in the house is such a clever move! We have "Smart Lock" on android by native, but it only allow to unlock by GPS safe places. For my experience this mode is very likely disturbed by some location issues especially when in the building. And now I can use WiFi without GPS struggle! Brilliant!

if i enable auto factory reset will i not lose ability to track my pohone? you just quickly block it within 1 min so it resets which propably gets rid of your google account ect. and then go home and safely use it? :D

Registering multiple fingers in one profile is better. When you have it on a table or desk,... Index finger When holding the phone to your face,(or also if it's on a flat surface...thumb When the index or thumb is greasy or covered by something.... A pinky or ring finger..... That's how I've done it with all my phones anyway, lol

I do not have the bar at the bottom of my screen, and I definitely can't tile my open apps like that. Is there something I'm missing? Most like there is, my loss I guess. lol For some reason I can't nor do I have the option to select multiple bluetooth devices.

I'd like a setting that would always let me unlock with biometrics even after resetting. I find the pin unsecure, because anyone looking over your shoulder can see your pin & can wipe it. So far, only Windows seems smart enough in that regard.

if you have a screen protector and you have issues with your fingerprint sensor, register your same finger 4 times, it will be way more precise

I have a Samsung Galaxy A12 and when i went to the Camera Settings lo and behold there is no ability to turn on QR scan or off.. Does anyone know if it could be hidden. I know forsure one ofmy friends scanner a qr code for me.. But I see no way to do it with the camera. Does that mean i need to load up a special application for that.. Anyone please help.

On a51 it is in camera settings. On a01 I had to use a separate app.

Samsung should create good video editors for their phones..

Those are pretty far out okay, but most of us will not find anything but lock out much of a common use. My nephew is a ROM-rooter, so for him and his buddies, I bet they maybe found one they didn't know without ROM changes...

What case you using?

Password has to be provided when switching off the mob. This feature is available on low budget mobiles now a days. Anyone can steal your mob and switch it off,.

Best tip is to leave those people alone who use AirPods with Samsung phones.

Why? When my buds broke, I had to use the 2nd generation Airpods with an application from GP Store, and it works perfectly. Why are you referring to the Airpods like they wouldn't work?

So basic iPhone features? (and yes routines is just apples shortcut or home app) everyone’s raves about customisation and features but I dont see anything special 😬

Biggest tip, do not buy this new from Samsung. Already save £500!on the device brand new on eBay, even the exclusive colours. Samsung sound like they're giving you something during pre order, when in reality wait a couple of months & price will crash.

It would be great if we could keep our phone unlocked for the duration we're at home and not just 4 hours.

But you can !! Can't remember where in settings but if you at home you can set it for 8 hrs so you won't logout or if you are connected to a home wifi
