Thank you for another good video . You used 13V to charge the batterie but a standard tablet charger uses only 5V. Can such high 13V damage the tablet?

Hi, can someone pleeease help!! I’ve followed video but.. on the part that you reconnect the lead to the toothy bit FPC on the plate for connecting the USB Flexible Cable it broke into pieces. I have bought another but don’t know how to attach it to the motherboard. Can anyone advise???

All the videos I've seen on this replacement are missing an important step regarding the SD card. If you have a SD card installed, before you being the replacement, go to Settings, General, Storage, tap on the SD card and tap Unmount (no need to Format). Then close Settings and shut down the tablet. Remove the SD card and replace the charge port as per the video. Then reinsert your SD card and power up and it should recognize the card again. If you don't unmount first, you may have trouble getting the device to recognize the SD card after the installation.

One day my tablet Tab S kept re booting while watching a video with the charger cable attached. And it was doing it again and again. I was fed up and I thought that it need more charging so I let it attached to the charger and I went to bed. The next day the tablet was not turning on, but with the charger still attached I could hear the whistle of the notifications because I was connected to the face book but the screen was not turning on. Is that a sign that my battery is not charging enough and need to be replaced ?
