Samsung Smart TV Stand by Light Blinking but No Picture Issue Fixed
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
(NOTE : DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE THE JUMPER WIRE AND REPLACE A CORRECT FUSE AFTER YOU TESTED THE FIX, IT IS DANGEROUS TO KEEP THE JUMPER PERMANENTLY)
This Samsung Smart TV (UA65H6400AW) had a black screen but the stand by LED was blinking.
This is the steps which I followed to find out the exact issue. The issue was in the T-CON board and after replacing the bad fuse on the T-CON board, it worked..!

Thank you very much for a very good diagnosis, very well done.
Thank you. Very helpful. Good video.
Great diagnosis, very useful .
Great work master Thanks for sharing your knowledge Am also a technician and this is top notch explained 🙌
That was a great troubleshooting lesson. You must be a teacher. Thanks. 😊
Constructive critisism: intro audio is pretty loud compared to the dialogue. Thanks for making the video. It was helpful.

Thanks for your feedback..
Thanks I thought it was power supply which I ordered but the fault is in tcon board thank you for your help
I have the same problem with my 50" Samsung. Followed all your steps and the lights still won't come on. Power supply, IC board and t-com board all checked out (fuse ok as well), so I think it's an LED problem. Good job though, good knowledge to know.

Screen or cables bad
Brilliant!!!
Thank you
I have a samsung qn85q80taf. It wont turn on. I disconnected the Led driver board ribbon from the Main board and then the backlights will turn on without me hitting the power button. It has a blue color to it. If i put tape over some of the pins in the ribbon and reconnect it then the backlight turns on as if it is disconnected. Would this be a les driver board short, a main board short, or a bad panel?
Thank you I'm having the same problem and I will follow the step see if I Rectify my problem let you know what happened
To much pain killers man, but good job.
Hi, you have presented an excellent video showing voltages to verify, I dont get backlight at all does that mean Power Board BN44-00667A is bad? I would really appreciate if you could guide.

First check the stand by voltage. because without power on the board via the main board , the LED driver circuit will not generate any voltages in some TVs. If you see the standby light and TV is responding for the remote, that mean the standby voltage is ok. If the tv power on and still backlight is not working there may be two different scenarios. 1. LED driver circuit issue in powerboard(then change the power board or repair it). 2. LED backlight is damaged. In this scenario the LED driver cuit will cut off the volatage after attempt to give voltage to LEDs and if the LEDs are not working correctly. The result is that you see it as the LED driver is not working, but actually the issue is in the LED itself.
Thank you ❤

Great video.....I have a Samsung 75" Q70R and it went black screen while watching a movie, it flashed blue every 20 seconds, I have some knowledge in electronics so I opened it to see if it had bad capacitors. With the TV energized, I disconnected the ribon cable that goes to the main board and the screen turned blue, so I assumed it was not the damaged screen, I have been looking on ebay and I have found the original power supply parts, do you think that replacing the board will solve the problem?...thanks

I'm guessing that this may be due to T-Con board issue. First try replacing the T-CON board. All of before unplug and clean all ribbon cable and reconnect and see what happens.
thanks -I will give a try

Did it work?
Thanks for this. However, I followed all the steps, but the issue remains
Hello good same problem my tv sumsung Ua40d 6600 how to problem salved
Did you forget to remove your soldered link and replace with the correct fuse, or are you just going to leave the link in? If the latter, then there could be a serious safety issue and you should not be encouraging the uninitiated to carry out what is clearly a bodge. I have to mark you down for this - sorry.

Good point. Actually I should mention that in the video. Thank you for the feedback.
❤Brother don't use big wires for fuse. Use same value fuse or thin wire otherwise next time t-con will damage. Next Repairing customer will surprise. this t-con is expensive it will gone big cost🙏
You should still check the power supply board for proper voltages. Their are several voltages from power supply

Yes, I agree.
I am not giving you a thumbs-down but a close up for more than half a second on the fuse that we could see what a fuse looks like that sits on a circuit board. Thank you for the video thumbs up!

Thanks for the comments. Actually I can't get what you are saying about the fuse.!
Is that a permanent fix? The jumper i mean or do you stilll need to buy a new tcon board?
@tech-corner2556

It is not good to keep the jumper. Just find a fuse with same current rating and replace.
Абе ей, намери или потърси и сложи оригинален предпазител със съответния ампераж в T Con board 🤣😂😢❤
