Can you connect rear speakers to this? I’ve ordered some for it as the quality isn’t as good as my old LG 5.1 I bought as an upgrade but need to attach 2 rear separate speakers for the surround effect.

i got a demo model of this for $215 Canadian. i was suppose to get the lower hw sb61b but just quietly received this and walked out lol. best speaker deal I've ever gotten

Can you somehow tell if soundbar is on or off by just looking at it?

What of the new one? The HW-S700D? I can't find any information on this one.

I have a 2023 Neo QLED samsung tv, am I able to connect wirelessly to the TV (without HDMI/ARC)? If so, would the sound quality be a lot worse? Thank you

i demoed this in a store... the sound is wide but the weight of the sound is not there. it could be due to small form factor and drivers..But the bass is great and tight. Overall the sound is like trebly but with separated great bass. The sound signature is best described as the main bar and subwoofer sound like they operate in their own separate sound space

ANY soundbar is much better than built-in tinny tv speakers, unless you have one of those tv's w built-in subwoofer and decent drivers that are more than 20W

No matter what I try I can't get dolby atmos working, I've tried native TV apps and a PC, anyone have any tips? I've got the hdmi plugged into the Arc port on my TV. Thanks in advance

What tv do you have? Do you have the tv output set to dolby digital plus or atmos, also lg needs to be set to pass through on audio

the s801 is the white variant and the other ones the black one.

You could have got a micro HDMI lead and put the adaptor in the TV.

Hi can you please advise me on which has the best sound quality the s800b or the q600b I've watched your videos on both but the s800b seems very thin and I wondered does this lesson the sound quality and loudness

Is says mini but is actually a Micro HDMI. They should've updated the description. In manual is states Micro HDMI and also many complaints of customers state it is micro.

Do samsung didn't provide adaptor for that mini or micro hdmi port? Damn samsung, good so far but that's a thumbs down.

it defeats the purpose to make such a slim bar, then to give you a power brick thicker than the bar itself. A deal breaker for me

Every review states it's a mini hdmi input, it is not, it's a micro hdmi, just save yourselves some wasted time having to return the wrong cable as in the UK it doesn't come supplied by Samsung which is an omission on their part.

you do NOT show CLEARLY at all. the actual set up. you assume that everyone is familiar with this procedure. you spend lots time opening the box ! ! , measuring parts ? , but you DO NOT show us how to set up the damn thing . which is exactly where i and others need help. spend more time showing set up where each part goes in to which device.. what a waste of time.
