Got my S23 Ultra last week and I love it. Have to agree these filters are superb. Both build quality and end photo result are incredible for very little money. I paid only £90 for mine. Couldn't be happier.

I have a s23 ultra and I have been wanting long exposure for ages, this is perfect I did have a app that stacks the images but those filters look awesome 👌

Expert RAW for S24 Ultra has embedded ND filter. Wonder how that one will perform against the hardware filters. Really quick and nicely explained video on how to do long exposure photos with the phone!

Any chance you will be testing the xperia 1 v for astro?

For non S23 Ultra owners, or S23 Ultra owners for that matter, there is an app that can be side-loaded that does a decent job with no add-ons needed - it is called e-aperture.

Hey, have you noticed any issues with typing on the MacBook using the MagSafe? Were you able to write notes normally? Were there any dead zones?

We are suppose to be getting light painting and long exposure camera features with the android 14 update

Nice, great looking filter solution. I hate that its so damn proprietary. That's whay I don't care for the Apple products. I have the S22 ultra, couldn't justify the cost of moving up to the 23. I use a clip magnetic nd filter and circular polarize filter from Kase. Works the same, but I have to move it to the correct lens, and that can be a pain if not thought out 1st. That's why I love the one you showed. Still not enough to get me to upgrade yet 😊

I tested the Kase filters a whole back. Awesome glass, but the mounting system wasnt good at all. The filters etc that are designed for a specific model are always going to mount better than a generic. Its just the way it is mate.

You're awesome. QUESTION: We will be going to the Southernmost tip of Tassie to see the Aurora Australis. What is the best and least expensive smartphone. I could use to video the aurora also a good night camera for general video of the moon. Thanks becoming a big fan!

Thanks mate. It really depends on a few things. Are you an iPhone or android user? A pixel would be the easiest to do what youre about to do.

Great content. I live in Brazil and I don't know why S22 ultra didn't receive filters like that. I am looking for but simply they seems that don't exist. Somebody knows?

If you look closely you will see the model number. It’s available from explorer photo video

I think your histogram in that shot is just the icon to enable the histogram.

With the phone you have, you will never need filters!

Probably not a good idea to make this video during the great fog of 2023 🤣
