she was definitely looking for normalcy growing up in a family like that she was probably searching for something different and humble but in reality a man is only capable of bringing you down to his level.
This story almost sounds like a fairytale but without a completely happy ending. But at least Boojin is flourishing, cut that toxic man out of her life and learnt an important lesson.
I think she saw what she wanted to see in him and not for who he really was.
Unlike others she was looking for substance more than money snd power.
