I’m giving you a sub because so far you’re the only one I’ve seen that shows assembling the stand in detail. I picked up the S 89C from Best Buy. It’s basically the same TV despite people thinking it’s woled panel but is qdoled in North America but is woled in Europe. Anyway, I’m not real confident with these feet. I’m going to wall mount because of them when I wasn’t planning to before.

Thank God I noticed it has the wall mount spacers placed lower than usual. I'm seeing an electrician in few hours and I have to specify where to place the cable tunnel etc.

What size bolts are used to mount the tv to a tv stand?

I just got my TV. great video for installation which I am worried about. I have a question: After inserting the two legs in the TV slots, does the TV stand upright without support? I can see that without the TV mounted to the legs, the legs do not stand without support. Please help asap! Thanks

I find the plate that goes over the stand’s legs is useful for stuffing cables underneath.

Thanks for the video Dan. I realise you're filming the screen so colours I see may be different to actuality but I'd like to tweak the settings to get a more natural skin tone and generally clear up the overall exaggerated colours. I'm still not convinced by the blackness of OLEDs tbh.

Hi nick, I try to set the camera as close as I can to what my eyes are seeing but editing the footage I could see the retail demo wasn't bright enough for a start, I'm like you I like my tv at home to have the brightness fairly low and aim for natural skin tone rather than colour popping everywhere. I agree with the black detail point.

Not convinced by the blackness of OLEDS? I just upgraded from a 2014 plasma and my exwife from a 2009 top of the line plasma to the s90c. This is simply superior by a factor of 10 plus. Brightness, resolution, blacks....its like a freaking XD movie theater screen in my house now.

With the S90C 77" version you don't have to put the TV flat to clip the feet. You let the TV stand up in the foam, the central part part is removable.

i bought this tv a week ago, and suddendly has air bubbles on the screen (i retired the proctec film from the screen) what should i do?

Do you still have this S90C? I noticed that this TV doesn't let you change the aspect ratio, or is mine having problems? I wanted to remove the 16:9 black stripes in Netflix's The Rain Series and when I went to do so it said it is unavailable or will I be able to remove the black stripes from the films only if I connect a device with HDMI ex PS5/Xbox One X/ S Apple TV 4k ROKU???

@@TellyDan From what I watched, all Streaming TVs have this problem, I searched the Samsung forums and a lot of people have this problem, but they were Qled TVs and other old TVs, so far I haven't seen anyone complaining about this Samsung OLED, I have a Philips Ambilight 3D 47" 2013 and never had this problem, it was easy to change the aspect ratio using the remote control, even in the Netflix app built into the TV

They actually put no power multifunction button on it?

You're supposed to use the side polystyrene pieces as stabilisers, then punch out the bottom polystyrene section so you can fit the stand while the TV is still sitting vertically in its packaging.

Do you have the 77"? I just had delivered the 77" S89C, basically the same as the S90C but different stand. I'm going to wall mount on the mount I've had for 10 years when I got my 75" Samsung LED which has served me well.

Do you know if, because of the low position of the wall mount spacers, universal wall mounts compatible with VESA 400×400 can be used and still remain hidden behind the TV? I don't know what kind of wall mount should I buy for this TV and actually I'm close to giving it up for LG, because its wall mount spacers are placed in the center.

I bought one today but only got one remote. Was I supposed to get two?

Uk you get 2, other countries get 1 unfortunately but you can get the standard one cheap from amazon

Ignore the number, its not a measurement just an indicator. Do you have sky q, the volume output is low from sky boxes

Should I remove the screen protector?? I can't decide. Dunno if it affects the picture. 🤔

Yes. You have to remove the screen protector as it's not designed to cope with the heat generated when the tv is operating - and will damage the screen.

@@fausto412 , yeah, it’s probably a US/NonConus thing. 😞 I’m sitting here trying to program this TV into my Harmony Universal remote, as we speak. Along with home theater. It’s all working perfect except I can get the ‘Channel menu’ to show all at once. 🤷‍♂️
