​@christianforbis3313 all depends on your pc specs if you can run 120fps games to for 144hz monitor if you can play 60 fps go for old 60hz monitor, buy anything led ips old technology, or qled is normal , buy a samsung qled monitor 27 or 32 inch or 43 inch

It would be nice if the Samsung odyssey series last’s more than 1 month, without numerous display issues, it’s like selling prototypes.

Had mine for years and never had an issue. Beautiful monitors.

No qd-oled, no 4k240hz, no dp 2.1. At least they done something with multiview...

But for general viewing in a dimly lit room (which I hope most people have for their gaming/creation setups) oled will be far superior in terms of HDR (blacks are actually black), response time, and color reproduction. That said, burn in is a real thing, but unless you get a bad unit, newer oled models have so far mitigated this issue. Most people who complain about burn in are talking about models From a few years ago.

@@An_Enraged_Pig QLED is plain classic LED with quantum dot filter to improve colors and brightness. OLED on the other hand is way better. The blacks are true blacks. viewing angles are almost perfect (depending on the type of OLED and coating). And for gaming‚ the OLED is superior as it has a really low pixel response time.

​@@RiceCubeTechyea but at this current moment there are no 4k qd OLED monitors for the ultra wide market. Most are 1440p and really while yes slightly noticable either monitor will still outperform most people's monitors or TV's so you'll still have a competitive advantage.

@@An_Enraged_PigQLED is a dumb marketing term for an LED with quantum dot color enhancement, it’s not a competitor to OLED in and of itself. Mini-LED is a competitor to OLED, but not all QLEDs are mini-LED, some are regular edge-lit or direct lit. Gotta thank these manufacturers for all this terminology

The fact that this 4 pc displays at once was not provided a software update to the ark 1 is absolute scummy practices by samsung. They release it only in their gen 2 to make more money when it should have been an oit of the box feature for gen one.

its more than likely due to the cable bandwidth so its a hardware upgrade rather than just a software upgrade but it does feel awful.

Not even 1 i have a 4070ti and im still trying to figure out how to go over 60 hz because it doesnt give me more than 60 hz and i buyed the second gen

What about if you spit it into two ultrawide monitors? Or cockpit mode? Can uou get above 60 hz?

Displayport 2.0 would have been nice. Why? 8K input and downscale it to 4K. If it would work

There's already downscaling available. DSR for Nvidia and VSR for AMD. It works nice as an expensive Anti-aliasing

They should make it with 8k resolution in this size. Otherwise, pixel is too big.

If a Chinese competitor comes out with a mini led version (dual 5000 anyone?) and with HDMI 2.1, it would blow this out of the water. A man can dream.... I would assume this won't happen till 2026 tho

It looks horrible bro in the real world that curve is eye cancer it is so annoying to deal with just na less curve better quality don’t start trying to get gimmicky because you don’t wanna invest in technological advancements
