Samsung Microwave not working ? easy fix at home! Every microwave owner should know THIS!!!!!!!

Link to
The switch’s I use In the video
amzn.to/3v1AlNa
So in this video I’m going to show you the most common failure in microwave’s . The microwave in this video is actually a Samsung but this is quite common with any microwave and because most of these microwaves are assembled by children in different factories all over the world. They need to be very simple to assemble so it does not really matter what kind you’re working on you will take a couple of them apart and you will notice they are very similar in construction. More often than not simple things wearing out in them because of overuse and age like switches or fans etc. etc. are the leading causes of them to stop working
you can’t break what is already broken so you might as well take it apart and take a look and see if you can find the problem in this situation it was because the fuse blew and the reason the fuse was blown was because one of the switches had went bad in the door visually it was easy to tell that the switch was bad because the other switches didn’t act the same as this one. First I tried to just replace the fuse then it immediately blew. There’s always a reason that a fuse will blow so you need to check and see what that reason was……. And not only know what is broke but why did it break in the first place…… this will help you greatly in future repairs by not only knowing how to do something but while you’re doing it. Hopefully you enjoy the humor that I put into the video and will consider subscribing. And most of all you’ll get your microwave up and going and if my video helped please put on one of my sweet Clay Way playlist at night time like my tips and tricks turn the volume down and let them suckers play!!! God bless y’all!!!

    It's amazing to me how things we buy now do not last. Our Samsung switches went bad after a year, but a microwave from the 1980's probably still runs great.

    Mine stopped working for the final time. I've been able to jiggle the wires to get it to work, but now it just has the door/keys error code of c-do. Every time this code came on, was due to steam coming from stovetop. New boards are $130 and the microwave is already 5 years old, but looks new. Should I just get a new one? If I get a new one, I will get one where the vent automatically comes on.

  • @sharpcarco

    @sharpcarco

    2 жыл бұрын

    Well like I said I’m not a appliance repairman. But I have noticed the original switches only go on one way so if you look at the original switch and right before you go to install the other one you can look at the two and figure it out. Look at the sides of the switches that will tell you if it’s opened or closed but if you put the new switch on exactly the same way that the other switch was on you won’t really have to worry about it too much

    Good question. As he noted, if you order the exact same numbered part, you should be fine, though stranger things have happened. My training would say order the schematic, or maybe it's online. Then, when you determine whether it's supposed to be Normally Open or Normally Closed, get your multimeter out. Touch the two leads with your probes. A Normally open should give you no indication on the meter if it's good. If it's bad, it will give you a Closed indication. Then again, it can fail open too! So toggle it and note that it completes a circuit in one state but not the other. For a Normally open, reverse the process.

    What type and size is that fuse you replaced on the circuit board? My microwave is completely dead as well. I had pushed the 30 second button to reheat and it immediately lost power. I checked the plug and the fuse box, they weren't the issue. It has now been unplugged for days and I want to get all the parts together before I try fixing it myself.

  • @sharpcarco

    that sucks but what you want to do is look on the fuse and replace it. Amperage and size they vary from model to model. The rest of the parts are down in the description there’s a link to Amazon. The switches are pretty cheap and they’re very very handy to have for many other small appliances around the house they work in dozens if not hundreds of applications.

It would stop when we opened the door but resume once closed. Going to put some sheets in the washer and I'm smelling something sweet. Low and behold the microwave had warmed up a piece of cake we had in there and not only melted the Styrofoam plate but also the icing. Would this be a fix for that? No my microwave was absolutely fine. After the repair it worked absolutely perfect But because I disconnected something that I did not show in the video that was unnecessary to disconnect and then connected it to the wrong location it Fried my transformer. In the video you see it working because luckily I hadn’t connected the wire yet that eventually destroyed my microwave for good….. This is a very solid repair and it certainly fixed mine if I wouldn’t of been messing with other things that I didn’t know about I would’ve been just fine this will surely fix yours and probably 99% of them out there if they’re not already messed with

    I’d be willing to bet you have a blown fuse , but I’m not a microwave repairman. Just make sure it’s unplugged for a little while open it up and look inside , it’s probably not going to fix itself (not train to be sarcastic over a text message you would have to hear my tone LOL) Samsung products are such pieces of crap. Other than this video and another video that I made about my fridge just stopping working, I will never buy this garbage again I paid good money for it to

    I hope he's wrong about the pants and the seven year old. I think Samsung is a South Korean Product. I may be wrong but I think they actually have decent human rights there. Now. For all I know, Samsung pays China to assemble these, so, heck, who knows.
