Thanks for the review! Yesterday I've bought cheap soundbar from unknown brand for my pc. It has issue that drives me nuts. When nothing is playing it has a background noise. I'm sure 95% of people won't hear it, but I have sensitive ears. You can also hear it even more when you play quiet music (Genre: Ambient). Does Samsung HW-C400 has this issue or is it dead silent even when you put your ear close to it?

Electrical hıss sound or frequency or other name of coil winding is quite known by computer enthusiast and audiophils I can recommend check your electric source if you can add grounding that might help.if you are using analog 3.5mm jack cable try to use bluetooth as a sound source and you can check your power cable if it is very slim and cheap it might effect if the soundbar is to close to magnetic fields such as computer cases power supplies wireless keyboard and mouse signals or recievers wi fi routers... This device did not do such thing to me but my enviroment might not be same with you. Check your list you might have aolution for your setup.👍

I think i will buy it to contact with Samsung odyssey g7 4k 28". You are recommen?

Using it as a computer setup you will be amazed compare to logitech systems

Can it be connected to the PC via USB or is the USB port only for playing music from a flash drive? This is a very important information and nobody tests it.

To do that you need to have some sort of usb sound card solution the only reason you wish such a thing that your 3.5" sound port is broken or you dont have bluetooth . İt does not says that in product documents and nobody needs that very bery niche scenario for you

@@homecinematech Nobody? :) Are you sure? I have got Creative Stage SE sound bar. A lovely little device that actually offers USB-C connection and acts as a USB sound card (also can take power from USB-C in case you don´t want to use the power adaptor). I´m using it under my monitor. As far as BT is concerned - not good. Laggy, quirky and I need it for something else. USB connectivity is a cool thing to have.

You are expecting a port can act your imagined scenario MR I KNOW EVERYTHING ( but you don't ) Samsung does not have power adapter but a direct wallplug which means electric input is not same system it's getting power from 110-220V directly internal adapter Creative has 15V adapter + Type C port inputs. There is no subwoofer for this unit this is cheapest model with internal base if you want higher model you should buy higher model

What you can do is ? you can have yourself a passive subwoofer and multiply you optical audio ... connect a sub from that like Something Like This Could Be if Your TV has HDMI ARC + Optical You Can Connect this to Active Sub and Soundbar from Different Ports www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001962136864.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/qpN8mZqhgsWre8o.htmlsi=Bzj_V_gfLelyZ2Zb Video explains this topic. You can also use 3.5mm Sound Cable to Active Sub from TV and use optical or bluetooth for soundbar ?

T420 is 150W and much more powerfull than this one. Bigger bass woofer will get you deeper bass but use scenario is different this is for small room table top use if you have budget and space to use it go higher model.

How much is it?
