I've upgraded from S21 Ultra to Fold 4 and this year could not be happier to return to S24 Ultra. Folds are not worth the money, and not as usable in real life scenarios as people think.

I had the fold 3, then switched to the iPhone 14 pro. I learned that there no going back after you get used to a fold. Got the fold 5 the next year and just ordered the 6 in white yesterday. Hope you enjoy your fold as much as I have!

I want this for Christmas!

I switched from the Note10+ to the S24 Ultra 1TB (I do a lot of nature photography) and absolutely love it. However, I have to say the new Fold has the same "new" design language and I like what I see! Cheers from Switzerland

It was really helpful having the previous iterations of the Fold phones in side-by-side, both in terms of size and weight; that was really helpful and interesting.

Do you tthink this will be a good upgrade from my note 20 ultra? I never found any issues with the note but the lack of software updates might be a problem. I mainly just watch youtube and game

Crazy how something new can suddenly make the previous look outdated. Very nice design on this Fold 6 even if it isn't a revolutionary change

The speakers were apparently upgraded on the fold 6 but there is no confirmation from Samsung on the product page on their website. The main camera apparently remains the same but the algorithms have been tweaked slightly to improve low light performance. Again, there is no confirmation from Samsung on the product page. Other big tech reviewers have already speculated in their own hands on videos regarding the upgraded hardware but there is nothing on Sansungs official product page to confirm this. When you do your review please examine these claims to see if they are true. Also, make sure to look at the Samsungs official product page before you review the product so you know what new features (if any) to test. This is why flossy carter remains the best tech review that ever lived!

I tested the speakers for this video but differences seemed negligible vs Fold 5 so I didn't bother putting it in the video. I have more camera footage to share in my next fold video within the next few days. Flossy is a great source for info if you have time for his long videos. I do my best to keep things as trimmed as possible to save people's time and share only what's really useful. Thanks for watching!

I noticed and improvement in sound already

I ordered navy blue, this will be my first foldable phone. Upgrading from s24+ i kept my samsung s23 ultra only 6 month's. I get bored easily with devices so hopefully this will keep me entertained until the next series of something comes out, lol.

While I understand the appeal, longevity trumps innovation. Having to worry about all the issues (screen peeling off,black line of death, ribbon cables wearing out, bristles coming loss) this device will have over its lifespan is so overwhelmingly off putting. And while Samsung care would seemingly address these issues it’s still a massive indicator of how a large company such as Samsung would gloss over these issues. And the probability that one if not all these issues would manifest in 3 years if not sooner doesn’t inspire confidence to buy this device.

Considering im upgrading from a fold 2 and you compared the 6 with a fold 2 ... youve earned a SUB.

I've had fold 3, 4 and 5. Was ready to give up on the 6 (and go with the ultra) but bought it anyway.

I literally cant wait to get my flip 6 buds 3 pro and watch 7!!! 🎉🎉🎉

nice review, really didn't like the narrow os screen in past this one feels better in the hand, but don't know if day to day it is still wide enough... How do you like using it day to day from the outside screen perspective? and is the glare that bad on inside screen? thanks for your review

Really liking the outer screen day to day. The inner screen still has a noticeable crease in harsher lighting conditions

It's definitely an upgrade and might be the first fold I actually buy after playing around with it in Best Buy. The build quality is exceptional. Very polished.

Those best buy play tests are dangerous lol. Made me cave and buy the fold 1 when it was $2k straight up no trade ins. At least there's good trade in values now

Will be upgrading from Z Fold 4. Fold 4 was good but the boxier design is quiet appealing

Traded in iPhone 15 pro and excited for first foldable. Last android was pixel 2.

i appreciate the review, i have a fold 4 but i just can't justify upgrading yet.

Im looking forward to the Fold 6. It seems like the best size to have it be a 1 hand phone closed and a 2 hand phone open. This being opposed to the S24 Ultra being a 2h phone (or 1h with a lot of hand gymnastics).

I briefly comment on this at the end, if you are trading in your fold 5 for $1200 to Samsung and taking advantage of other discounts during the preorder promotions then it's potentially worth it. Otherwise hold onto fold 5.

I got mine for 599(pre-order). That includes the memory upgrade to 512gb. That breaks down to about $11 a week to have the new hottness every year. Proly why I've had all 5 folds and the 6 is otw.)

Ppl keep saying this isnt really an upgrade from the fold 5 while me and my wife over here with the fold/flip 3 loving the changes from not upgrading every year already preorder 😂

I'm not much of an upgrade, but I'm getting the galaxy z fold 6 from the Galaxy s24 ultra. I'm very excited, and this will be my first foldable of !!!!

I’m not a huge cell phone lover but am looking for a new experience. This fold 6 looks pretty great for those wanting to do everything. Between the fold and say the s24+, would I be giving anything by important up by going with the fold over the +? (Not digging the ultra)

Samsung is on the right track. I don't have the money for the fold 6 though but i like where they are heading.

I have a fold 5 and will be keeping it for a few more years. There are not enough changes to make it relevant to pay my contract off and get it. May be if the outside screen was same as a normal phone ect then I would. But I'm now used to the smaller screen.

Screen protector on inner display, none on outer display. Outer display screen protector is something I always HIGHLY recommend getting

6:40 any comments on the crease of a phone that's just been unboxed are a bit disingenuous. The crease definitely becomes worse after 1-2 weeks of use. At least we've seen this on previous fold models. When I switched from the 2 to 4 the latter also had a very shallow unnoticeable crease the first week.

Well I decided to trade in my galaxy fold 3 for fold 6! I was considering a vivo fold or even a oneplus. But the 7 years of software updates did it for me!

I think after Z fold 4 I moved back to slab, until and unless they make s pen slot to it like ultra, I will still stick with my ultra series, but may upgrade the watch and buds pro as 3 years ready

I tested it out in 2 stores today holding the Fold 6 next to my Fold 5 and we recorded it. Had 5 people standing next to me and all of them commented that the crease is still exactly the same

Fellow fold user here guys so don't shoot me. I have a suspicion that what's not being taken into consideration is that when we bring out our Fold 5s and previous iterations before the 5, we are comparing units that have been worn in for at least a year, sometimes more. The crease always looks less noticeable when the device is brand new because it has had nothing like the amount of opening and closing as the devices we take out of our pockets to compare with. I had the Fold 3 and currently the 5

And then on top that it's not even that noticeable & it doesn't stop the performance of the phone or the screen. Your literally folding a screen in ½ & not breaking it. What do you expect it come back flat?

Nice color choice. Only 1 battery cycle in so far but very happy with 8 hours SOT (mixed use outer/inner screen). Got 7 hours SOT on my Flip 6 so battery is promising for Snapdragon 8 gen 3 on these foldables

Only an Apple user since this past February. Yes it's smooth and excellent video but so is Android. You can't customize iOS like Android and the Fold opens up a whole new level of enjoyment and experience for me. I am still finding out what it's capable of doing. So, I have no regrets on my decision. What about you?? Are you ready to try something new??

Hello:) I would like to ask for advice. I have been using s10+ for 4 years, I am completely satisfied with it, but I already wanted to change to something else. I was looking at 15 pro max + I need a tablet (well I need a bigger screen for work and study) and then I saw that the new Fold 6 was released and I was interested in it, and for the first time, because I have never paid attention to Folds. And I thought that, probably, it could replace both phone and tablet and it would be convenient to have one gadget for everything... The question about the cameras is a little confusing (although I am satisfied with mine cameras, but I heard that Apple has a better camera, so I started to think about switching to this side 😅). I would like to hear opinion from Appleuser. Thank you)

Begrudingly upgraded to this phone from the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it was on it's last legs and I wanted something a bit more fun and out of the box, I could have gone for the S24 Ultra but wanted in on the foldable scene - amazing how samsung got 4 models in and decided that once again, innovation goes out the window and to follow suit with all it's devices and release the same damn thing for an extra 50 bucks - still, hopefully I don't regret it in 6 months when the OP Open 2 comes out, just can't get on with Oxygen OS lol

I'd say yes as long as you're ok with sacrificing your embedded S Pen and the advanced cameras (10x optical down to 3x, 100x zoom down to 30x)

Its convenient considering Samsung will give you for $1000 for it if you trade it in. And Samsung smart switch makes it very easy to change to a different device, plug them together and wait 20-30 min for everything to transfer

Did you remove the factory inner screen protector? Just curious as I removed it on my previous folds.
