Google did the same and nailed it. It isn't neccessarily bad if they keep improving and tweaking the software. Hardware isn't everything.. I think MKBHD's results on blind camera tests have shown that multiple times already.

How many major changes does your car model receive year by year? Major changes on a yearly product is unrealistic because you aren’t supposed to upgrade every year. If you waited every 3 or so, you would see and feel a major difference.

As wish as a community we would agree to not buy this phone, due to the minimal changes. I know it won't happen and people are going to always buy the new phone because they have no impulse control. But man if only we could REALLY hurt their bottom line buy not doing a single purchase. Maybe then they would invest more on R&D to give a product that's actually worth the price

I'm with you! I've really been wanting to get a foldable but this device is way overpriced and is inferior to the 24ultra. No way am I getting it.

I have the zfold3, was holding out for the 6......lets squeeze another year out of the zfold3 and hope the 7 has what we want.

​@@Leo23XR my ZF4 screen protector cracked, removed it and worked fine about 6 months until I made sharp dot on the inner screen and eventually phone went dead. I think it went dead from the folding mechanism and power cable snapped, but Samsung did not want to check that and no warranty possible. They asked about 500 to fix. Will move away from Samsung after 12 years and try other brands, like Oppo or smth.

I'm changing to fold6 from my fold5 as I'm changing phones each year to the latest processor as I care for a larger screen which the fold6 had it a bit bigger (personally don't care care about camera and s-pen since I hardly use them), too bad vivo has no intranational model and pixel tensor 4 is still as compare to snapdragon

​@ronervine man, I bought a Galaxy watch too and after a year, I am thoroughly disappointed. Laggy software and unreliable step tracking. Floor counts is also out of whack. This means other health tracking features may also be crappy, but I don't exactly have a way to test them. Realizing now that it'd be better to buy something more accurate and reliable like a Garmin (that is if you care about the accuracy of the fitness stuff).

Downgrading ZFlip6 from OLED to LCD? No way And increasing price That has to be a mis-type

Samsung makes all of the folding screens for every company using them. EVERY foldable sale in the world is a Samsung sale. For their semiconductor company and not the phone division sure, but they definitely don't really care that much. I'll still only buy a foldable that has a pen, so Samsung and honor are the only options

My wife has a flip and it's a disaster! In the middle of the screen the screen damaged because of folding the phone, you will see shattered glas. When she flips the phone it makes now this weird sound like their is sand in it. It's just a mess, never buy a folding phone

I think I’m sticking with my z fold 5. I need the 1tb and according to the price, it’s still too high with a trade in. Nope! I won’t be buying the same phone twice, this year. I do want the ultra watch though.

Even with a Fold 3 I'm unimpressed by the fold 6... just the battery not lasting as long as it used to, might be the only reason to get the fold 6 with a good trade-in option

Now I know why the trade-in deals are so good

I'm debating if I should trade in my Fold 4. I'm not looking for major changes/improvements every year; however, samsung has been underwhelming lately. I'm really looking at Pixel Fold and even Iphone 16 Pro Max.

With this cover screen ratio a lot of apps won't work properly.. I'm an owner of z fold 5 and a lot of apps just don't behave normally

My Fold 3 battery life is Crap, i had to have it Replaced due to the Battery Swelling up inside the phone causing my Fold 3 to Separate, i want to upgrade but ill just wait until the unpack event to make my decision, thanks Sal.

I'm actually happy it doesn't have the same screen as the S24 Ultra. The matte thing sounds great on paper, but now you have to get Samsung's matte protector, because if you put a regular screen protector on it, it'll mess up the anti-glare thing.

Does anyone know why foldable phones have raised edges (bezel? Not flat) on the inner screen? For protection or limited by technology?

After Zfold 4 & zflip 4 Samsung hasn't doing any big changes in their foldable department 🤦‍♂️😡😭

I am slightly underwhelmed by the lack of significant innovation in the new phone's design. To remain competitive in the market, it is crucial to keep pace with the advancements introduced by Chinese manufacturers.

It seems like Samsung improve one thing and downgrade the other😂. Z Fold does not impress me so I will keep my S23 Ultra because it is a great phone.

I think it's safe to say that samsung doesn't want the Z series to match or beat the S series in features.

Fold 3 2024 edition with a steep price increase!

The Fold 6 does not hold a candle to the Honor Magic V3 or the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, or Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. All three run laps around the Fold 6 and Samsung needs to innovate to keep up with the Chinese foldables that are releasing global versions of their devices. Compare the specs of those 3 devices with the Fold 6 before you buy another Samsung foldable.
