I love the small outer screen of the fold. It makes the phone both small and big at the same time.

Bought Samsung fold 4 13 months ago... and as predicted even with best care, using cases the foldable screen broke.... not because of drop but it started with a protective film peeling off( bubling). Samsung offers 1 time free foldable screen protection replacement but before I even managed to book an appointment (they're really busy) the peeled off screen protector cought the flexible screen in the wrong place and whilst opening the device it broke the inside screen. It is sent under warranty. But having to go through all of this this was my first and therefore last foldable device I bought. Even just knowing that this screen will break again after the repair makes me anxious and not enjoying it as much. And I bought the 4th generation thinking the issues would have been fixed by now... but clearly tech is not there. I want an expensive phone like this to last 4 years... not having to think about repairing the screen ever 12 month (even with my carefull and small usage)

Pretty much same situation as you, had to replace s22U and decided for the fold 4 back in December. Other then the annoying spot of the flashlight I've had zero regrets about going for the fold 4

I just like the fact that you can seamlessly navigate from one app to another (multitasking). No major reasons to upgrade to z fold 5 tho!

How’s the durability? Inner screen still okay? Looking into getting a quality used one with insurance, but heard too many stories of screen failing

Mine stopped taking charge exactly 1 year and 2 months later but I can turn it on with the low-watt charger. Ubreakifix says it's the battery ($130), the Samsung Galaxy store says it's the motherboard ($500), and the Samsung care center says I need to replace the battery and screen which cost 650 bucks. 😢

Battery life, speed, runs cool, multitasking, hand notes and a great display. Everything I need. My only major concern is the film on the inside edge of the large display catching the tip of the stylus and makes writing to the edge of the screen annoying.

WHICH ONE OF THE PHONES IS BETTER FOR BUSINESS OWNERS?

I bought a Samsung Z4 Fold but after 2 years of use suddenly stopped. No turn on and I don't have extended warranty. What's to do ? One technician told me that is most expensive to repair than buy another one.😮

I have the Z Fold 4 but for some reasons I stopped using it. Still in excellent condition with no issue at all but I am not able to get used to the foldable phone design. I spend most of my time using the smaller outer skin which is not as big and comfortable compared to a normal smartphone. I spend about 20% of my time using the bigger inner screen and so I ask myself what's the point? Why not just use a regular phone? The other reason is anxiety. Constantly opening and closing the phone remains a worry and also the possibility of losing or breaking it is always on my mind. So I have been using the budget Moto G 5G 2022 instead and very happy with it. I'll probably get another foldable but I think Samsung really has to come up with a better design. Maybe make it a bit more slimmer. They can also change the aspect ratio.

It's a great phone, software wise but I really prefer the Pixel Fold for its form factor especially the cover display. Well done Izzi

To each his own, and I agree the form factor is great for the front screen, and stock Android is definitely nice. However, the rest of it is average at best. Processor was already the slowest when it launched, battery life is below average, it overheats (again, because of a weak processor), very thick bezels inside, not as durable, doesn’t have the pixel 7/pro cameras. But not bad attempt for first foldable

i do not like how the pixel feels or look i'm more of a rectangular long and slim kind of fold phone to each his own

No real reason to upgrade to the Fold5 if one has the Fold4 unless one gets a trade-in deal, which I doubt we have here

Whats crazy is these phones on amazon are $400! Refurbished and like new i got a Zflip 4 for $250 and i love it!

I feel is better to go for the fold 4 now because thr fold 5 is quite pricey and the fold 4 can be gotten almost half the price of the fold 5 and still deliver the almost the same performance.

I disagree with the Fold 5 having the same camera as the Fold 4. Danny Winget (and anothe European YTer) made a video and showed how little the diifference is (you can't notice it unless you pixel peep) between the S23 Ultra and Fold 5. Of course the zoom is where the S23 Ultra wins no question, but the Fold 5 actually took better low light photos in the latest software update. I also disagree with changing the form factor. The point of having a slimmer screen when closed is so it's easier to operate one-handed. If it had the same width as a normal phone then it means you would have a hard time reaching edge to edge. Why get a fold if you just wanted the same form factor outside. You'll end up using the outside screen more which defeats the purpose of using the inside screen. If you say the issue is, it's hard to type with a narrow screen up front, all you have to do is learn to type to swipe. I've been using it and it's way faster than typing with two hands (people who don't like swipe to type generally have a hard time spelling properly, that's why they don't like it - generally speaking of course).

Flex cable went out after one year and a half for both z fold 3 and 4. Nned a better warranty. 1 year not good enough..

the flip 4 sucks bad.. do not buy screen delaminates and is not covered under warranty.

Terrible product. The large screen cracked right along the hinge 14 months (out of warranty) of regular use with no drops. $500 to repair!

Same thing happened to me but luckily when i call them they said its still under warranty and fixed my phone within 5 days and surprisingly it looks like Brand New Phone now. ❤
