According to Android sales, Samsung is what Apple is with the Apple Watch and its Galaxy Watches. And Samsung continues to make great strides in the field of smartwatches. After switching from Tizen to WearOS with the Watch 4, the Watch 6 Classic continues this trend after the Watch 5 and also comes with an adapted WearOS 4 interface.
Generation "5" still differentiated between the Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, but now we have returned to the logic of the Watch 4 and named the models Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic. And yes, the bezel is back on the Watch 4 Classic. The Watch 5 Classic once again has a physical rotating bezel, after the predecessors only had a digital version.
Back on board is the BioActive Sensor, which allows monitoring of body function values (optical heart rate, electrical heart signal and bioelectrical impedance analysis) with one sensor. ECG and blood pressure are measured, as well as heart rate, blood oxygen and stress. Samsung itself says that the measurement is more accurate because the surface with skin contact has been enlarged. By the way, the measurement can also be performed during sleep, because sleep phases, snoring and the blood's oxygen content are measured there. The whole thing is supplemented by a sleep coach, which is supposed to show you the optimal wake-up phase.
The batteries are unfortunately a problem again in this generation, according to the first tests, and come with 300 mAh in the small case variant and 425 mAh in the larger 47mm version.
Especially for users of the Watch 5 Pro, like me, this means significantly less capacity (the Watch 5 Pro still had a 590 mAh battery), which will also have a significant impact on runtime.
Unfortunately, the smaller battery does not help when it comes to weight either, because the Watch 6 Classic is "fatter" with 59 grams in the large version than the Watch 5 Pro with 46.5 grams. Incidentally, titanium is history as the case material, and now stainless steel is used again in the Classic version and aluminum in the normal version.
It is certainly also interesting for many that the watch glass is once again made of sapphire glass and protects a display with a maximum diagonal of 1.5 inches and 480 x 480 pixels resolution on the Watch6 Classic.
A slightly increased 2 GB of RAM and a constant 16 GB of storage space are impressive. The processor has also changed slightly, namely the Exynos W930 and thus an update to the predecessor is installed.

Haha, haste direkt erkannt 😉 Ja, sehr lecker.
Ich hatte auch schon mal bisschen mit der App rumgespielt. 👍 wollte eigentlich beim Tragen der Uhr auch die eigene Körpertemperatur (Oberfläche) am Handgelenk messen. Das geht offensichtlich manuell nur über die „Wassermessung“ da das die einzige Messung ist, bei der man die Uhr angelegt lassen kann. 🤔🤷🏻♂️

Habe auch noch keine andere Methode, als die automatische Variante, gefunden. Muss man noch mal ein bisschen rumprobieren. Wird aber sicher auch eine manuelle Version kommen...
Das ist für die Zyklusapp gedacht, meine Watch 5 hat bereits die Nacht Hauttemparaturmessung mit drin. Genauso funktioniert die App bei der 5 bereits auch.

Theoretisch, ja. Aber das ist in jedem Fall keine vernünftige.
Bei dem Kühlakku war die erste Messung schön rechtwinklig, alle nachfolgenden Messungen erfolgten mit schräg gestellter Uhr. Damit kann der Sensor nicht mehr alle Strahlungen zurück empfangen.

Hallo kannst du auch mal die galaxy watch 6 classic mit lte testen gerade die hat ja bei der Version 5pro Überhitzung Probleme beim längeren telefonieren über die Uhr verursacht sodass sie sich nicht kurzer Zeit zum abkühlen offline gesetzt hat

Das kann ich nicht beantworten, weil ich dazu bisher nichts gehört habe. Der Sensor ist glaube ich gleich, daher sollte es theoretisch gehen, würde ich vermuten.

Geht das auch wenn die Uhr an der Hand ist bei mir nicht.

Nein, das geht nicht. Außer bei der Auswahl Wasser, da kann die Uhr am Handgelenk bleiben...
Den Sensor gibts doch schon bei der galaxy watch 5

Das ist absolut korrekt, nur nutzbar war er da nie als "Thermometer"...
Der Sensor kann ja nicht fokussieren, der mißt was direkt unter ihm ist. Halt so, als wenn man die Uhr am Handgelenk trögt. Wenn man ihn so nutzen könnte wie Du ihn hier verwendest, gäbe es dazu auch eine offizielle App. Für Minusgrade dürfte die Kennlinie auch nicht gedacht sein. 🤣 Samsung scheint aber eh nicht viel von den Fähigkeiten zu halten, denn er wird ja kaum genutzt. Warum wird er nicht für Fiebererkennung verwendet? Auch beim Training/Joggen wäre das nicht komplett verkehrt. Mit etwas intelligenter Software köbnte man durchaus ein paar sinnvolle Ausgaben machen. Oder er verbraucht einfach zuviel Strom ...

Die App ist ja mehr oder minder offiziell...das ist die Empfehlung von Samsung, daher würde ich mal sagen, dass es sich nicht um was inoffizielles handelt 😉
Durch das einschalten der Temperatur bei health wird das always on Display deaktiviert son misst braucht keiner

Solche Fehlmessungen triffst du überall...zbs Personen Waagen ;: wir haben 2 zuhause...eine mit fettanalyse und wlan und nen billig produkt..gehtst du das erstemal drauf liegen dort bis zu 8 kg unterschiede im gewicht..steigst du direkt ein 2. mal drauf sogar mehr oder weniger..ich denke bei solchen "günstigen" uhren,waagen und anderes zählt die 1. messung und nie die 2. direkt..man sollte immer warten..vermutlich geht der sensor erst nach stunde oder mehr wieder zurück zur 0.....man sollte aber auch wissen solche messungen sollte man NIE ernst nehmen....beste uhr ist sowieso garming xD

Wobei die Qualitäten da durchaus schon besser geworden sind. Grundsätzlich bin ich aber bei Dir, dass es immer eher eine Indikation, als ein feststehendes Ergebnis ist.
