I have the 4gb model and use it in dex mode all the time. Sometimes i have like 10 windows open and the speed remains the same. ( maybe it gets slower but i dont notice it or it dont bother me ) . For 200 its totally worth it. When im at home i dont even use my laptop and phone anymore.

That will be bad for Samsung.. Most people want a big screen cheap tablet to just watch youtube or some daily basics (with quality brand) If they had like 12in cheap tablet.. then Tab S9 FE + / S9+ will get lower sales numbers.. 11in is plenty of size for Tab.. persoanlly I would prefered 11in Tab with SD 778 for like $250.. but Samsung will never give U med tier CPU for $250 Tablet.. meh

That's because the low RAM.. I had Tab A 2020 which was 3GB RAM.. which lags 24/7 Lol Minimum for Android Tablets these days is 4GB.. 6GB is the ideal, 8GB if U were gamer or heavy user I sold it & got Lenovo P11 (SnapDragon 750G / 6GB RAM / 128GB & IPS screen) which look super great on paper But the UI is kinda meh? I barely use it & always go for my phone or even PC.. I think Samsung Tablet have super great UI

I haven't got one Ui6 update yet wifi version, have you got it ?

I've had it for 3 days and encountered this error once. I tapped on the display and nothing happened. I briefly pressed the power button and nothing happened. I thought the tablet was turned off. After a few minutes, before turning it on, I tapped the display again and the tablet worked. I don't know English, but maybe you can understand what I wrote.

If you can, take it back and ask for the money back or buy something else. I think he's grossly overrated for his skills. It charges very slowly, approximately 3 hours long. Copying from USB also takes quite a long time thanks to the outdated USB 2.0. You can't display the image on a monitor, so the dex is pretty much useless. The display is outdated TFT technology, but at least 90Hz. 90Hz is completely unnecessary in such a display and is not even noticeable when it is turned off. I have no problem with its speed and I can watch movies on it, but I think that this tablet is a step back in time by quite a few years. The galaxy s9 fe tablet would probably be the right one for the price of the galaxy a9+. What is worth something is the 8GB memory. I also bought the A9+ tablet, but since then I regret that I was able to spend money on it. The xiaomi pad 6 has orders of magnitude better parameters and the price difference is insignificant. Unfortunately, it was sold out when I wanted to buy it. In my country, the A9+ 8/128GB is around 320 euros, and the xiaomi pad 6 8/128GB is around 367 euros.

S9 FE is the real deal But since S9 FE reelased only before 2-3 months.. it's still cost near MSRP.. wait for 3 months & U will get it for $50 cheaper ($100 if there was some sales or any promo) S9 FE is weaker than Xiaomi Pad 6 on paper.. especially the CPU.. but Samsung have much better UI & more stable Android.. that's why I would prefer S9 FE.. but that's only for like $400 Max.. anything more than $400 is just a waste on S9 FE

On Amazon it's 219 for the 64gb model is that with 4gb ram and is the 128gb model 8gb ram?????

Guys please tell me, I'm budgeting. These are my options: 1. Tab A8, capacitive pen and palm rejection glove 2. Tab a9+ , 8gb, wifi, I'll just buy capacitive pen and palm rejection glove for it. 3. Tab s6 lite, 4gb, 64gb 2020 version or 2022 with version with spen. What I hope for is the samsung dex, can use for digital illustration and can handle some programming apps.

I'm interested in this as well, I am considering this tablet for use as an automotive mapping device with a large screen (using the embedded GPS receiver chip).

Weird that the SD695 is faster than the SD720G. If a basic tablet you want, this is it. If you want one more productivity, get the higher end models.

of course it's faster.. by a small margin.. but that's the common thing of CPU nature 720g is 8nm released back in Jan 2020.. while 695 is 6nm released back in Q4 2021 SnapDragon 6 & 7 series were very bad in past for lack of competition.. but things changed now (they're good now) MediaTek now is a real threat.. especially for low-med tier segment.. Snapdragon can't milk people forever.. they improved their low & med CPUs.. heck even their high end 8 series is amazing now.. I hope Exynos wake up & enter the market again (if they improve at least)

Not that weird. The 2 performance cores of the 720G are A76 ones. The 695 uses 2 A78 ones. They share the same GPU, but the 695 one is higher clocked. The 695 also has faster RAM.

Looking to get this instead of an e-reader for manga. Just wondering if it's too big.

honestly its fine if you aren't planning to travel with it for manga. It is pretty large, bigger than my iPad. I don't even like carrying my iPad around for reading. I have a small kindle for reading because it's light and fits everywhere for traveling.

If you play video it wont even use 90Hz... It will in 99% of scenarios use 24, 30, 50 or 60Hz depending on the video.

that is how every high refresh rate phone works... if you're watching 60fps video it will be 60hz, there is no benefit of going above

@@atoo7yt490 Nope... That is the case ONLY if the display has a variable refresh rate.. I.e: 1-120Hz, 48-120Hz etc... If you watch on a 120Hz display without variable refresh rate like several models have had then the display refreshes 120 times per second no matter what you do. Even if you watch still photos... That's basic knowlage. And brw on a LCD panel the baclight refreshes hundereds of times per second regardless of what the actual display refresh rate is.

@@Oystein87 every 120 or 90hz phone without ltpo still has 2-4 modes to switch between, it will go 60 when youre watching 60fps videos or dont touch the screen, refresh rate does affect battery life regardless of backlight speed (it only flashes when trying to emulate lower brightness levels) turn on "show refresh rate" on developer settings on any modern device and watch a video... 🤦

let us call it FHD+.. still.. even FHD+ is not great for large screens like Tablets.. 1440p should be the minimum Or at least 1080p with IPS screen.. TFT is just ugly with those bad viewing angles Funny how some $150 chinese companies can offer IPC screen while Samsung can't offer IPC screen for $220 Tab Lol Samsung Tab S7 FE were trash TFT.. I think Samsung refuse to acknowledge the issue & think people can distinguish IPC from TFT

You seem to be stuck at the PPI alone instead og counting in distance etc. What do you mean "1440p should be minimum or atleast 1080p (this is 1200p btw) on IPS? IPS does not need less pixels than any other display.. Think you better get your basic knowlage correct here... IPS = TFT with wide viewing angle😅 This tablet has infact a IPS panel and good viewing angles. You are Thinking about TN panels (also a type of TFT) that has the worst viewing angles. Funny how you seel yo claim things you do not have knowlage about and shows everyone how little you know. A hot tip for you: Get the basics correct before commenting. I suggest you delete your comment so others don't laugh

So yeah..you ever compared A9+ Vs Xiaomi Pad for example? The screen viewing angles in Xiaomi Pad is better.. even while they both TFT

@@Jack_Sparrow131 Samsung says it has IPS... That some shops says TFT on a tablet mostly means IPS. On laptops I would agree but barely any tablets use anything else than IPS or OLED these days. And I would take a VA over a lower contrast IPS. I don't buy a tablet to sit on the sides watching it so I don't even care much about viewing angles on a personal device like that as long as it looks good enough from directly in front of it.

It has issues with multi tap, it stops responding, you will need to retouch to make it work. It got worse the longer you played and i have returned it already. Ill stick to apple devices from now on.

Honestly, new owner won't play 4K content off a flash drive. With the casing options available, it can't sit in many positions. Awkward screen size. Constantly using 90% of 100% available RAM. Screen doesn't look any better than my old Lenovo 2-in-1 IDE pad. I honestly don't even know where I bought this. The only kind of pros is the familiarity between it and my Galaxy phone. Not sure where the hype is from

I have the 8GB ram version and i can get 30FPS on fortnite consistently

I can't play more than one app at a time (Play a video game while listening to my music) or playing 2 YT videos in separate tabs at the same time (it's not the browsers). This "one video at a time" makes sense for a phone but not a tablet. I can play multiple videos on my Surface and chrome tablets, but not the Samsung A9+. If anyone knows of a setting, please let us know or this tablet is going back.

Why would anyone buy this instead of the S6 Lite with the Spen? similar prices, actually less for the S6 if you shop.

I think it is because A9+ plus has a superior chipset than S6 Lite. And S6 Lite was launched on early 2020 whereas A9+ was late 2023, a new model than the former.

OK people need to stop with this headphone jack BS. It's 2024, you literally have usc to stereo jack dac cables that are dirt cheap. And don't give me "sound quality". I run high end iems, and focal bathys bluetooth headsets and focal clears. You are not missing anything using a usbc dac. And why the hell do you wanna walk around with the stupid cable getting snagged everywhere anyway!? Again you don't run higher end gear than I do, if you do, Jesus, I mean what are you doing!? Walking around with your sennheisers in public!? I doubt it since your phone won't be able to drive it without additional amplification(makes everything even more annoying) . Let the headphone jack die. It's literally wasting space that can be used for battery or other useful sensors.
