This green screen is due to display flex cable problem. If your phone is old then repair at local store in big cities at minimal cost.

My solution is to setup the Always On Display show the clock whenever I tap. If I only unlock the phone AFTER tapping and activating the clock, then the screen works 100%. But if the screen turns on in any other way (i.e. without activating the Always On Display first), then the problem appears. When the problem is showing up, turning the brightness completely down might help, but a green tint remais.

I tried it on my s9 plus with same issue and it worked out perfectly. Thanks for sharing this solution ❤

Baru alamin kejadian serupa hari ini pada S9 saya dan pakai aplikasi Oled Saver cukup membantu namun layar tetap kembali flicker saat dimatikan daya atau saat ada notifikasi wa ketika layar keadaan terkunci. Setelah cari2 info di Google, kemungkinannya bisa jadi yaitu karena update software fitur pegenalan wajah yang bug atau gagal. Setelah saya matikan fitur penganalan kunci wajah di pengaturan, sejauh ini flicker atau kedip-kedip pada layar saya tidak kembali lagi. Semoga bisa menjadi solusi bagi teman-teman yang sedang mengalami hal yang sama. Steps: Settings -> Biometrics and security -> Intelligent scan -> turn off Intelligent Scan Unlock (please turn off all face unlock features)

That’s definitely a digitizer issue. That phone needs a whole new screen and digitizer which is pretty cheap for most phones

activando el olways on display es una solución , tenés que esperar a que salga el reloj y luego de eso lo podés desbloquear y anda perfecto con el brillo al nivel que quieras , pero tenés que esperar a que salga el rejos ( o el si defecto tocar 2 veces la pantalla y dale el reloj) y depues de eso lo desbloqueas , yo lo estoy usando así actualmente

Así lo hice por vario tiempo y funciono pero ahora de la nada estoy viendo algo o algún video y aparece la pantalla verde de la nada , lo bloqueo espero que aparezca el reloj y nada sigue verde , lo solucione una vez pero sigue pasando

Is your phone having tempered glass?remove it now and change it to plastic screen protection to save your money for another repair.

That's nice mines so bad in a few no reason it even happened it was too white to see anything till lock screen went green. Even then just putting the charger on triggered 40-60 minutes before it decided to be normal. How long for i dont know I've to screen shot it's appearances but when phone pretends it's fine the screen shot shows the normal screen

Hi, Solved. The power on/off button must be putting pressure on screen & causing the green screen. In settings I changed the on/off command to a "long press" on Home button. Also I can use the bixby button on left to "wake" the phone. No problems since. New "power button" is needed!

TRUST ME. use always on display. set tu always show.

That's the sign that the screen is starting to go bad. I have the exact same problem, but to a lesser extent. I first have to tap the screen myself so that the always on display is displayed (the time is displayed). And I'm already looking for a replacement myself. It's no longer getting security updates (it's stuck on the March 2022 security update) and is still running Android 10.

@@ElectricFrog483 I was told by a tech guy that it's a problem with the screen. Usually related to either battery degradation, extensive use or default errors in the system. So pick one.. bottom line is, it's best to just get a new one.
