My first phone was the Samsung Galaxy S Plus and I remember it beeing amazing! The best thing was, it was so easy to root or install custom Roms. If something went wrong just hook it up to Odin on the PC and flash the Original Firmware.

My very first touchscreen phone was the "Samsung Behold". I got it simply because at the time it had the best camera on a phone. I'm really into photography... I even own a Nikon D-90 DSLR camera. My first official Android smartphone was the HTC One S. That phone was one of the top at the time and it still amazes me that the camera on it can keep up with many newer phones today!

Just an FYI, I think the Galaxy S Vibrant you have featured in this video is actually the Galaxy S Vibrant 4G which was a 2nd edition of the Vibrant released in 2011. The original Vibrant was released in 2010 and only had 3G. I can tell because the original Vibrant came with the Avatar movie for free, while the 4G variant came with Inception (which can be seen on the homescreen of the Vibrant in your video). A key difference between the two models was that the original Vibrant had 16 GB of storage, and the Vibrant 4G had 1 GB.

Cramming more pixels into a display doesn't make it better. I have seen both XZ premium as well as galaxy S7 edge up close and to be honest S7 edge felt more beautiful to look at. There is currently nothing in the market that can rival Samsung's Super AMOLED.

It came out in mid 2010 so yes there was camera recording on the 3GS at the time. The iPhone 4 was about to roll out at the time of release. Another backwards thing that Samsung like many companies did was omit the built in FM radio. What a damn shame, hardly any phones utilise this awesome function

Lol even though “cheap material”, my Samsung phones lasted why longer before a scratch happened, and they always survived a drop, of course with a case on, compared to my 1st iphone 6s plus, which already has a dent on one of the sides because it’s too slippery and bounced of the sofa and into my glass table. Plastic fantastic! I’ve had every single Samsung phone since 2006, until my last Note 3, which I switched out in late 2015. I miss the slide phones with a “keyboard” and the era of messaging!

My mom is now rocking an S9 and I am using an S9+. I came from a Note 4 and I really miss that premium rubbery plastic on the back. It was a cheap piece of plastic, but about the best you could get on a phone even to today. It just felt great in the hands. The robbery groovy texture gave a strong grip that was hard to drop, even after holding it for a really long time with sweaty hands that thing was going nowhere and still felt premium.
