Damn that's one good looking but the software gives me no reason to buy it to replace my current iPhone, which is the Iphone 7 Plus 256 GB.

therealestmc85 That's exactly what I said. Great screen but inferior software. The 7 plus smokes the S8+ in speed test. Excited to see the bezel less design of iPhone 8.

My s8+ lasted more than 5 years. I am so pleased, but now on to the S 23. I'll still keep the S8+ for some games I won't move over. It's truly a solid device.

Love this phone so far and the display size is wonderful!! My s8Active died and insurance replaced it with s8+ and so far I am very pleased.

Recently purchased this S8 midnight black. Awesome design and some learning curve I must say haha

And Aaroon the video was one of the best.I have never seen a better video than this and you unbox very good I understood you everystep of the way.KEEP IT UP

I love the S8+. My hands are big so the fingerprint sensor is not difficult for me to reach. It feels great in the hand when I hold it, however, that darn Bixby button gets in the way when I try to adjust the volume. Other than that it's a beautiful device and the screen makes watching videos a pleasure. The touchscreen controls take a bit of getting used to after having a physical home button on my las phone (Galaxy S7). I put the 2 side by side and the entire body of the Galaxy S7 fits inside the screen of the S8+, talk about an upgrade in size! I love everything but the Bixby button, this phone is definitely worth looking into!

One thing I can say is this really makes me wish the 5.5 inch screen on my 7 plus was larger. I've always preferred phablet style phones. I used the Note line before switching to iPhone. Honestly the screen is the only thing I would change though. 📱

I've had an iPhone for years but this phone looks fantastic. The screen is something else. If Apple don't release their next phone with this tech then I will move to a handset such as this next year.

Im from the future (2023), apple is still years behind from samsung.. btw there will be screen in build fingerprint and apple will move away with face ID, which is pretty cool.

I am still using my s8+ that i got in 2017 it is still in good confition i havent took the case off ssince 7years and now it is clean and in excellent condition and no problems well now i have an s24 ultra but it will definitely be as a 2nd phone

I know this phones been out awhile but I wanted to share this. I bought mine when it first came out I cost me a thousand dollars and yes at first I loved it. After having it for awhile I had nothing but one issue after another. I had to replace the charging port because it stopped charging via cord, then after replacing that it constantly told me it had "moisture" in the charging port. The screen and back are supposedly gorilla glass five yet the back of my s8+ cracked for being left out in a cold car overnight because I forgot it in the car then I accidentally dropped it in my house ON THE CARPET and the screen cracked. I swore I'd never get another flagship phone so now I use a cheapy budget phone 2 months in no issues

Jon I’ve had this phone since the day it released I work in the trades in harsh weathers outdoors, never replaced anything and only had a cheap case on it and it’s good condition after 3 years and just last month I went to iPhone se 2 because it was cheap and needed something new

I looked at one today at Best Buy. Apple needs to up their game if they want to keep me as a customer. This thing is beautiful.

I have pretty long fingers and the iPhone 5s and 6s are small. I don’t really like apple since people are always complaining about upgrading their phone, so the s8 plus is the perfect phone to upgrade to.

Bought one yesterday for $85 US. Battery health at 78% and still holds a good charge. Very tiny screen burn in with a few light lines. Other than that the phone is in mint condition.

Because of this video, im switching to Samsung. This phone is amazing.

its a nice phone but I'm not sure about the price though cause even it is outrageous for Samsung. I had the s6 when it came out and it was only about 600 but 850 that's a bit much.

I will definitely pick this one up but still don't know if i will go for the S8 or the S8+ :)

Design is pretty much better than the current iPhone I don't know much about the hardware yet..

Back when phones looked good , it felt premium in hand , box looked premium also , you had charging brick and headphones . Now you just have the phone from a regular ugly box with a sim key and a cable . I have an S23 ultra and still it doesn't feel as premium as s8 . I never had an S8 but I wished to own one when it released . I just used my friend one and all I can say even the phone is almost 7y old is still amazing

Only mono sound? Forget it, then; with streaming services upping the ante for quality stereo in both movies and music, Samsung have missed the boat. I thoroughly enjoy the left/right stereo separation I get from the iPhone 7 Plus. Though I still use a Samsung Note as well.

i havent gotten mine yet....they say theres a lot of orders for the plus im guessing in orchid gray..by the sound of it i wont be getting it til the end of the month or next month and i pre ordered mines on the 4th!

@@harriette-paulaosakwe598 If you're gonna buy it, ask if the Phone has Android OREO 8.0 OR 8.1. If the phone is Android PIE 9.0, don't buy it because it has lot's of battery drain. Oreo is awesome especially for battery life. The battery life of oreo is 15 hours SoT. The Battery Life of Pie is atleast 8 hours max.

So I'm thinking about switching from android to Apple. Is the switch easy to get used to or would it be hard for a long time android user who likes doing multiple things at once like play games and talk on messenger at the same time, have a hard transition. I'm also used to longer battery life from Android as I'm in school 9-10hrs a day and I use my phone alot

Battery life on iPhone is generally longer as long as you have a plus model. There are a few exceptions with the android phones, but most android phones do not get the same battery life has iPhone plus models. If you are into multitasking though and using split screen, you just can’t do that on an iPhone. You can click reply when a message comes in, but you can’t have two apps open at once

zollotech that would be my only problem with iPhone. But I've had so many issues with android over the years. I've probably spent more than 1400 on phones in the past 3yrs cus all of em have basically had the same problem. Maybe with Apple it won't be such a pain in the butt but everyone has told me the transition is easy for the most part. I've been with Android for years but I think imma give the iPhone 8 a try and see how it works out
