Thank you. May be a bit "old," but I just bought this for my dad, and it's a GREAT phone! Highly recommended. So many neat features: the bright flashlight, the hard buttons, so many little things. And the extra button near the top for the barometer, I made into a camera button completely - so it's a point and shoot camera with a hardware shutter button! I did get a case for this phone: a "Unicorn Beetle" case. Just as tough as an Otterbox, but sleeker. I can't see not having a case; it's a tough phone, but still . . . It's a man's case, you might say. I also got him a belt pouch for it. I would definitely recommend this phone over either the S5 and definitely over the S6, which has not battery cover, and no SD card. Thanks for the video!

Also, I need to make another video showing how to make the most of "Easy Mode" without crippling the phone. Again, this is great for a variety of different people who need a tough, easy and powerful phone. People who work physical jobs and need toughness, power and simplicity, and for older folks who need the same. There are quite a few secrets for making this *the* perfect smartphone for older folks or those who want to keep it simple and direct. At the same time, you want the full features of the camera, calendar and other basic apps. That extra button is awesome. I have it so on a click, the car-park app pops up and you touch "P" to park. Or long press for the full-featured camera app. You can answer and hang up with the hard home button if you choose. (Yes, you can do that with other Galaxies, but I found it easily on this phone! Got it on my Note 4 that way now.) It's a tough, great phone. It's just particularly helpful that the capacitive places on the standard Galaxies are hard, physical buttons here, with an extra one that you can reprogram. And this case tends to prevent accidentally hitting them.

I love the visual changes and features, especially the enhanced notification area with widgets. Right now the beta is far too buggy to instal on my production machines.

Perfect phone for outdoors activities and pokemon Go! The Glonass satellite geolocation feature is such a great and important feature that is sadly much overlooked, but us outdoors people know why we love it, and as I said perfect for Pokemon go with also its stupendous battery life!!

I choose S5 activer over S6 active, because removable battery and expandable memory

I like how the phone looks like it already has an urban armor gear case on it =)

No mention of the absent fingerprint scanner. Anyways, loved this video as I do all of yours.

That color light is also available as an app, almost exactly

Someone needs to make some more damn cases for this thing. Wish Lifeproof or Otterbox(Preserver) would make one.

javierh10016 Hey man, it's up to you. If you're more laid back, than the HTC one m8 is for you. But if you're very active, than the s5 active. But it's up to you. :-)

I'd compared my s5 active to the original s5 phone and noticed that my screen seemed slightly bigger. Are there only certain/regional models that have a bigger than 5.1 inch screen?

I have this phone and I love it. My only complaint is that the home button often sends you to Google search and it can be really annoying. Other than that, it's a great phone.
