I have the S22 ultra and I don't think about updating for S23 or S24 at this moment. S22 Ultra is still a powerfull smartphone, with excellent performance, great cameras, excellent construction and a good battery for a flagship. Maybe in 2 or 3 years I think about replace it.

I was thinking the same. I've the S22 Ultra. I do like the AI features on the S24 though. So I'm upgrading. Already on pre-order for the 1TB size. My S22 is 512.

Além das câmeras, a resolução de tela do S22 Ultra também apresenta números melhores e ele dá empate. Parei de assistir o vídeo na comparação da câmera frontal... É uma análise tendenciosa. Sobre o comentário acima sobre o pós processamento da imagem... O processador já havia sido analisado, o que estava em questão era a câmera e visivelmente a Samsung fez um downgrade. Tenho um S22 Ultra e só troco se o S25 Ultra vier com números bem melhores que estes apresentados.

Bought the S23 Ultra a month ago not knowing the S24 Ultra was going to come out so quickly afterward. At first, I was kinda bummed but after watching your video and seeing how close they really are, I'm okay with it! Thanks!!

Em fev/24 completará 1 ano que tenho o S23 Ultra, o aparelho é sensacional! Minha esposa utiliza um S21 Ultra que lhe passei,.mas, já está ficando desatualizado. Aqui no Brasil, vc faz a troca samsung, entrega o aparelho antigo e tem um bom abatimento/desconto no valor do aparelho novo. Vou fazer essa troca com o S21U pelo S24U e assim ela fica como S23U que é uma obra prima. Galaxy S é imbatível!

There's few false things in this video tho. But still if you're using S23U then it's not worth upgrading. S24U is worth to upgrade if someone use older like S20 or even any other mid range user and decided wanna try flagship Samsung

I have the S22 Ultra, amazing phone but the camera let me down on vacations...The only possible thing they could actually improve at this point is the camera so hopefully by the time the S25 comes out there will be enough improvement to upgrade.

I have the S22 with 512g storage. I didn't think it was necessary last year to upgrade to the S23, and I still don't think it's worth the upgrade to the S24. Also, with another 2 years of Android updates, it becomes even less important to spend the money now!

A few observations: - S24 ultra has gorilla glass armor (not victus 2) - S24 ultra does not have 8 GB ram variant, just 12 GB - S24 ultra does not have 10x optical zoom, just 5x (bigger sensor though, 50 mp vs 10 mp on S23u)

No man, u definitely need an additional logic core for offline onboard AI, gonna be usefull incase of fallout))) like a PipBoy S24 Ultra, you'll be able to ask it is the water you about to drink are shoddy enuf to kill ya.))) P.S. Try to get it by the banc credit and for as much years as you can, the 2024 can be the last one anyways=). I still waiting smangus to do another micro sd card admitting smartphone, well since s20ultra, till nowadays...

Good content. You got a couple of things wrong, like the 10x optical zoom is actually digital zoom. The glass on the s24 ultra is armored gorilla glass, not gorilla glass victuss.

No one mentions the shrinking trade in value if you wait a year(s) longer to trade in your phone. For my Note 10 plus I got $1000.00 trade in value after having it for 2 years. I have the S22 Ultra 512gb now. I am not sure of the trade in value tomorrow after (Samsung's Unpacked Event) for the S24 Ultra. If I wait until next year I think it will be significantly less. I'm torn, as I agree with many in the comments, there are not hugh differences for the added costs of the trade in.

Great comparison. I have the S22 Ultra and do not see the need to upgrade as I don't play many games and only take few pictures. The other specs are similar or the same so keeping this bad boy longer.

S23 Ultra é uma obra prima! A Samsung chegou ao topo, mas, busca ainda melhorar! Tenho o S23 Ultra desde fev/23. No Brasil a Samsung aceita um aparelho antigo em bom estado por um bom desconto. Na ocasião foi-se um S10 Top na troca. Minha esposa ficou com meu S21 Ultra que será trocado pelo S24 Ultra. Senão me acostumar, volto ao S23U. Mas é dificil hein?!!!

Few wrong things about S24U in this video. It use Gorilla Armor, and it doesn't have 8gb ram, all variant for 24U is 12gb ram

Not really. Unless you're already using S22U. Because for people that haven't use flagship before, or use even older flagship Samsung, then S24U will be the best choice since it's newer=longer update validity so they can use for very long to keep having all latest features before upgrading again

In a selfie, I don't understand why. the S23U, and the s24U. have better results, than the S22 ultra which has a selfie camera of 40mgpx?? when the rest is identical. the S22 ultra is better in this case the!

I have the s23 ultra and the s24 ultra looks nice. I was close to upgrading last week but I like the rounded edges a bit more than the flat screen, I'm possibly in the minority but I also like the reflective screen, it gives a kind of glass look that I like, I'll probably hang off until the s25 but I'll see, my impulsiveness can sometimes take over 😂

That's a wise choice, no need to upgrade if you already have 23U. Unless you're using even older devices or mid range devices then it's reasonable to get the S24U

My problem with new top of the range phones, they have so many gimmick functions that people only use a few times to check it out and then abondon the functions completely. All the gimmick functions just drain the battery super fast. All nice to have......

S24 does not have 10x optical zoom, only 5x. This review also doesn't address new UI or integrated AI.

I previously use Redmi S2(not joking ☠️) and jump straight to S24U, if I only have to comment on one word, then my answer for S24U is "WOW". Sure for S23U users, I don't see any reason to upgrade it. But for people like me who want to try flagship Samsung, then it's more worthy to jump to S24U rather than 23 or 22 since it's newer and will get longer update validity

Excelentes

Samsung disappointed fans by giving the same design and specs almost despite using AI door to sell this newer version. We see similar designs like Apple playing with stupid buyers, now Samsung on the same path with Apple. Much better bot to waste money on S24 Ultra. Instead, I can rely on my S21 Ultra, which is surely gonna get this One UI 6.1 update sooner or later to get AI based software enhancement. That's it.

On January 17 we will find out its characteristics
