In an era of incredibly boring phones, it's software that really needs to ramp up the game. Interesting to see how phone comparisons will look in the future since you can't just look at a spec sheet anymore.

Phones I think will get more boring in terms of design, and somewhat software. I worry how big companies will continue to innovate for the next decades or so, Are they not running out of ideas, or Will they not run out of ideas?

A lot of the times used today, most people can't tell if a green screen has been used. Now throwing CNN under the bus, but do you have any idea how many videos from phone cameras have been leaked, especially when the United States was in Iraq and Afghanistan? I personally can remember about 5 off the top of my head. Now, just about anyone can use A.I. to manipulate the content you want your visitors to see. And we're not even talking about real state sponsorship for almost impossible to tell if the information is propaganda or actually the truth! The future will sure be interesting to see what happens.

The problem with Google is that they are using Exynos chips with Samsung’s foundry. The good news, however, is that it will change in 2025 when Google is expected to make their own chip from scratch and will let TSMC manufacture it.

​@@TechTalkTVexactly people don't seem to understand that a company as big as Google doesn't want to rely on a competitor for their chips. The plan was to fully make their chip from scratch and they are on track to do that. Google is thinking long term with their manufacturing and development of chips, they are one of the few companies that like to fully build their investments from the ground up(they either do that or they just abandon them lol). Still getting the best ship on arguably the best phone is the best outcome for both Samsung and the consumers.

They are following what Google has already been doing. They had AI on their chips last year but they didn't perform quite like the Pixel devices. Hopefully these will. At the end of the day though. Google said phones aren't getting faster and the next big leap on technology was AI like 3 to 4 years ago. Welcome to the game!!

The demanding nature of these features might make it unlikely for the S23 Ultra to incorporate all of them. However, certain features that don't rely on generative AI could still be integrated into the S23 Ultra.
