So I got my S23 ultra back in February when it released and Its definitely still holding up like a champ 🏆. I have the 512 memory model with 12 gigs of ram and 4.0 storage. I'll admit that maybe some of the animations are not as smooth as maybe the iPhone or pixel but I strongly believe this will be fixed with one UI 6.0 android 14. Just to be clear the phone is not slow by any means but the smoothness can be improved a little. Other than that this phone is a juggernaut 💪🏽.

Hi, a quick question: Do you also have noises from the camera when you shake the phone? I know several people have it, but it's strange as I've had the phone for 2.5 months now and it's only now that the noise is appearing... :/

Hey! I work with phones and just wanna give advice regarding the screen. The more crack resistant it is, the easier it is to scratch and vice versa. For that reason, phones like these are better suited with a film type screen protector vs. a tempered glass type. I personally use the ones from ghost armor, but most should help with day to day micro scratches

Got mine for $194 256gb green new. I had a amazing trade on from my carrier I had a s22 plus and they took 1000 dollars of the phone 🎉❤

had mine 3 months now . battery life is incredible . i get between 4 and 5 days on a charge . ok i do very little online stuff as i have a gaming pc . but still a bloody good and fast phone . i like taking photos , it is incredible for that .

@@adrianbudnik6413 i use it basically as a phone . i am not googling everything all day and night . i use a lot of texts to and fro also . i never play music , games or video on it . i charged it 2 days ago . just checked , it is 49% . done a hell of a lot of calls last night . Newcastle fan . lol.

I love curved displays they look cooler and they give you a better way to use the One Hand Operation + app And the edge panels

How deep are the scratches you've experienced? I have a few on mine too even though I take a lot of care. It's very annoying for such a costly device.

I have had my s23ultra since day 1 , never lagged on me once, not one single time😊 my 15ProMax lag more, heats more, and more bugs all the time

Great product. Only huge No No is the C type earphones. The phone goes crazy deciding between charger or earphones.

It’s been a month since I use iphone (12 pro) and one of the reason why I love samsung is the display! I miss my samsung note 10 plus. There is something about their display that feels more lively and beautiful.

Samsung really need to work on Smoothness and Animation.

I'm not sure if this glass has any durability rating. Mine scratched in less than a week after receiving it and there was nothing I could think of that caused that. Before my film protector arrived in the next three days I saw another scratch. I don't believe in their marketing, Glass victus plus is a complete marketing. Other phones have the same Glass victus and they're not scratching as easily as this phone. They planned to ruin our trade in value with this glass

100% on the Victus 2, allegedly more shatter resistant but not trying to test that feature. 😂

Ive had it since launch and i changed the animation speeds in devolper options and mine is smooth as fuck .

I would really love to buy and try this but what is stopping me is that Samsung is known for that after 2-3 years problems are showing. Notorious is that never ending pink green line in screen and up to know Samsung isnt doing something about it.

I'm waiting for the 24 if any tangible differences from the s22u, but those refresh jumps are less but are present, there isn't an os without problems, I'll take a few jitters, very tiny jitters once or twice a day for me maybe, rather than flat out crashing or non entry like the others, Samsung has risen to the top it wasn't always pretty but since the n20u its been the best os to me, aesthetic animations, messaging reactions, advanced voice dictation, for the price aren't enough to give up the pros of the ultras to me, once the s23 dropped they have made significant improvement in something most true note users wasnt truly affected by due to launchers and understanding of android but all the public inquiries are being addressed swiftly i would say. To me it's no doubt the ultra experience.

i have this phone, the only drawback is the 8bit screen, every other phone is 10bit, thats 16 million vs 1 billion color depth. in case you are wondering ypir eyes can see the difference.

I used the phone 📱 for like 10 hours none stop KZread some games music 🎶 etc battery 🔋 wont drawing lol 😆 this phone is a beast worth all the money

I can’t tell ya for sure what to do but I have the i phone 14 plus and it’s great. It’s my daily driver over my 22 ultra which I only use once in a while…usually because I’m charging my I phone.

If you want next year s24 ultra go full flat, it means samsung lost its heritage from the predecessor. Doesn't make any sense to me people wanted the screen to be fully flat, prolly you and those people mkbhd's fans

I want to say something to you my friend. Trust me I've been using Samsung phone's since 12 years ever single S series and some NOTE every couple years or so and I'm going to say it genuinely IT IS THE BEST OF SAMSUNG GALAXY PHONE EVER the SD chip and the screen and the battery you won't believe how good they nailed it its fast I mean really FAST no heating problems you will be happy I'm sure about that. Now the cons are slow fast charge ' funny' anyway 45 it's not the greatest but it's the best we ever got from Samsung the camera shutter speed is somehow leggy make me so angry and the last thing is you can't find any other bad thing about it. I guess the finely achieved the prefect phone I'm happy for you take care of it like I'm going to do because I was changing my Samsung phone's rapidly because of the 2 update policy but now I'm going finely stuck with me galaxy to Android 17 that's just awesome!

Than I swapped to apple(broke that phone and came back to android) that android shit the bed and I’ve been on a I PHONE XS for the past year and 7 monthes. I am BEYOND excited to get back to the android platform and this is my first NEW phone fresh out the box! Gonna feel oh so good, got my hands on one in store and it felt so nice! My significant other ordered her I PHONE 14 PRO MAX today as well. She has been apple for every phone she’s had basically(except for the first couple before I phones where the in thing) she’s been on a I PHONE XS for years now. We are both super excited (same thing for her with this being her first fresh out the box phone)

I first got the s23 plus from iphone 13 max and the camera sucked on the plus so I had to upgrade from the plus and got the ultra and I'm very happy but I had to get the ultra locked because I wasn't able to return the unlocked plus sadly

Best phone period lol also im telling yall dont get the 12gb if you dont have to. That extra ram not being used actually ends up hurting the phone. Which is why the 8gb even benchmarks higher. People assume 12gb is better when in reality its optimixed 8gb which is why the 12gb does absolutely nothing. It can actually xause more issues like lag and hitches believe it or not. They aremt giving you the 12gb ram at the same speed as the 8gb. Its close but its not the same. I mean come on its a business you really think they are going to give you 12gb with all the extra storage and at a higher speed for only 150 more? Nope lol so listen is you can get away with rhe storage on the 8gb do yourself a favor and get that one. Saves you money and yes performs slightly better. Anybody that tells you different doesnt understand optimization or ram amangement and what extra ram not being used at all can do to a phone or anything at that tbh. Also dont worry about the issues you talked about thats just the update its on now. Next update you will be surprised it will be back to how it was performing. You cant expect it to always be as good wirh every single update there can be issues with all phones made.

I agree with everything you said outside your main point. The 12g is not less optimized or slower than the 8g. That's just not true. The manufacturing process would be more expensive it they did that. I build computers for a living and understand RAM and optimization completely. I have the 12g version, and it is lightning quick. I've had it since Feb and don't see any micro-stutters or slowdowns. The OP is in my estimation an "i"idiot who is used to using CRapple crap, and they all look for tiny things to bitch about instead of having ANY knowledge to use all of the advanced features. Gaming, social, email and text. That's it. This is by far the best and most feature rich phone on the planet, and if ya set it up for auto-optimization, it doesn't miss a beat, ever.

It is not the duration of using the phone, it is the updates. I bought my s20 fe 5g one year after launch (as you know samsung prices drop drastically over time). It was extremely smooth especially with sd865. I received a new update after one week and my phone became trash, it can handle any task or game but scrolling throw the ui and opening apps has become laggy, maybe if I buy a new samsung phone I will just install the necessary out of the box update and then just stick to it. I care for smooth user experience too much so maybe Oneplus and nothing are more suitable for me as they really pay attention to this regard. Ironically my brother has a 2-year-old poco f3 and it is way smoother than my phone. What a shame.

sorry to hear. I had no significant issues with Samsung updates minus some battery drain that only lasted a couple of months.

How is the battery life bro. if u use continously it will give better SOT ,but u use at regural intervals it will give less SOT .do u have same problem???

Just to let you know I've only had like micro tiny itty bitty scratches my ass 22 ultra was worse I had more problems with that phone then anything I haven't had one heck up with the s23 ultra at all matter of fact things are getting faster as time progresses which is weird but I do know that it is possible to not get a good one I mean they could have some problems out of the box so think about trading that phone in for a new one and see if that changes it

I think the battery is good on galaxy s23 ultra battery should last 3 years. But you can have samsug battery replaced on this phone so thats a option

That's why I am afraid to go to Samsung....I was a Samsung user and I switched to iphone 3 years ago and now I am thinking to jump back to Samsung but when I see they didn't fix the smooth and lag problem....

I find it hard to believe you “try your best to take really good care of your devices” if you haven’t even put a case and screen protector on your phone as a form of basic protection. Honestly you should have known your phone would scratch overtime if you deal with phones as much as you do.

More specs mean higher price...

Ever since the June / July update the battery life has been dogshit I'm at the point where I lost an entire hour of screen on time meanwhile my brother's iPhone 14 pro Max works just as good since the day he got it at launch. There have been many people complaining in on the Samsung forms and on the s23 ultra I'm at the point where I might just sell this phone and buy an iphone 15 pro max
