Got this phone for $100 at Metro. Absolutely loving it so far

If Samsung had chosen the 8+Gen1 globally, this phone would have been a top selling one. I had the S22 with the 8Gen1 and it heated like hell, it was awful. This S23 FE is not a bad phone, but with a different SoC it could have been great.

@@mistamaog I truly can't believe that the 8 Gen 1 is cheaper than the 7+Gen2 so I really don't understand the decision. Maybe it has to do with the fact that Samsung manufactures the 8 Gen 1 🤷🏻‍♂️

maybe one of the reason is that Samsung release smartphones globally it has chipset shortage that’s why samsung use their own made chipset but well at least the exynos 2200 in S23FE is better than last year S22 series.

Why would they? They use older chipsets to keep the price low... why would they want it to compete with the rest of the s23 series. The 20 fe canabalized the rest of the 20 series... they def do not want a repeat

My son has an lg v60 thin q now and plays allot of call of duty and things of that nature. How would this compare to that?

Full comparison to the Pixel 8?

Plenty of SD8G2 phones are discounted now, which are better in most metrics and only cost a bit more, at least in the UK. So, for me, this is aimed squarely, as the name suggests, at diehard Samsung fans who want the Samsung logo for less. Regarding performance, it's average, with decent cameras and solid battery life. There is little to complain about for fans buying this, but neither is anything to get excited about. The initial S20FE was a revelation, now no more, just another choice in an overcrowded market.

Great Shame FE have always had the Snapdragon chip set, why change it. It would be awesome like the original 20FE it had a SD Slot.

Your current phone is still very superior compared to the S23 FE. If you want to upgrade, maybe go with S21 Ultra or S22 Ultra or if you have the money, might as well go all out for the S24 Ultra

1:18 It's Exynos 2200 brother, not Exynos 2300. Samsung skipped the Exynos 2300 chipset and will jump to Exynos 2400 with S24 series...

@cheddarcheese9205 : They have launched the S24 and S24+ with both the exynos 2400 and snapdragon 8 gen 3 version, depending on the region. Only the S24 Ultra is snapdragon exclusive regardless of the region. Do some research before commenting blindly !

Yeah I've been using this phone for a few months now (exynos), and gaming a fair amount on it. As a PC gamer, this phone has been doing well enough for pubg and codm. Playing pubg for half an hour at a time at HD ultra fps. Codm at high and max fps. I don't play for longer than 30mins - 45mins, but it runs fine.

Would have been a great phone if they didn't give us that trash processor. When the 8 gen 1 was horrible with the S22 and battery life. Im 100% sure Samsung had so much left in stock from the bad S22 sells. So they had to use it to mske up for the money they lost.

tbh s21 fe looks better with thinner bezels. Almost no changes much too from it. it's more worth it to just buy the s22 at that price with the price drop of s22.

Saw video thumbnail, thinking why another KZreadr covering this shitty device again, then thinking it must be affiliated link video, open video and boom affiliated link. KZreadrs these days....

This device is stupidly overpriced. It'll get discounted by the end of December, if not even sooner. Samsung priced it this way so they could cash in on the early buyers, before inevitably discounting it to the sale price it should've been -- $499-549 USD.

Still want tinf on rhat iphone 15 AAA ganing video that longer than 10 seconds. Whats taking so long with that. One of the main things apple bragged about and no youtuber is covering it

The iPhone has had 4 updates since those early tests, and the apps are still being optimised, so do not take those early examples literally. Wait for them to arrive and be optimised. Genshin has improved considerably, as an example, and gets 10% more FPS than the S23U, using less wattage since updates and will get better (based on last year). That is the reason no one talks about it, as it was on buggy software which is being continually fixed.

Those bezels are disgraceful for almost 2024. Its a lazy cash grab from Samsung. Theu need to do better.

I wouldnt recommend this phone to anyone, s22 new is cheaper and s23 new you can get at the same price.
