I don't believe it's worth it. In my opinion, I feel that it's a downgrade from the S21 FE. This new one might as well just be called the A54s

Wow the FE colors looks dope. Depending on the price in my country, I might get the Mint one.

It has the design of A54 and specs of S22. Why is it named S23 FE? And if it does not launch with Android 14, I'm skipping this. There is no sense in launching android 13 phone now when 14 is almost out, they are basically reducing 1 year of their updates

@@katinasoutherland7693 Well, some people are more productive with Samsung, and in general, One UI has more productivity features than the iPad OS. It could also be that they only prefer Samsung. The same also applies to other brands. They still exist because they have their market (customers). If a product is able to meet their needs, then that's okay because we don't have control over it. Ignorance will come into play if we don't explore or try the other side and see if we can be more efficient with our work.

My brother's s21 fe has smaller bezels. Why samsung keep increasing the bezels. Even is the s series, my s20+ has smaller bezels than the s23+. Isn't that concerning? I think they are pushing us to the Ultra series.

I would have to say that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is one of my good devices.

So in my understanding, the s23 FE packs the same performance with almost the same hardware as the s22 ultra without the primary camera lens from the s22 ultra. Still gonna hold the 22 ultra for bit longer xD. As for the tablet s9 FE, seems like good purchase for me as im looking for a good tablet in the the price range they give, still gonna wait for your review on it though before i buy it. Thank you for your video, Shane.

This phone wasn’t designed for someone who already has S 22 anything so they wouldn’t expect you to be upgrading. They would expect you to upgrade to the S 23 or S 24 series..

s23 fe > all s22 series, the 4nm present in the exynos 2200 of the s23 fe is much better than the 4nm present in the exynos 2200 present in the s22 ultra, you can see it in the benchmarks

From a S20 FE user it looks like a decent upgrade. Until you see the bezels. If the S20 FE has smaller bezels it makes the S23 FE look bad. And it does. It's bigger in size than S23+, with a bigger screen. In Europe coming with an exynos really turns it down more. I usually don't notice bezels in reviews, but these ones pop out to me.

25W Charging. Processor is plenty good despite being slightly outdated (it is 2 gens old, we've have SD 8 Gen 1+ and Gen 2 since the Gen 1 in this phone)

Tnx for the exclusive early look! Shame about 8gen1 (Samsung's own 5nm process marketed as 4nm) over 8+gen1 (TSMC's actual 4 nm) in S23 FE. Would seriously have considered it to upgrade from my still excellent, but slowly ageing S10 Lite (Snap 855). It's served me very well, no performance issues to date (being the first Snap built on 7nm). Its replacement should ideally also guarantee 4-5 years obsolesence horizon.

S23 FE designs looks good, I like that contrast with the frame and the colours are more "bold" than what you get with flagship S series. Samsung should try offering more interesting colours on flagship. But I am glad that Samsung has such a wide range for all economic demographics. I might get the FE series phone and tablet. Hopefully they still provide the SD chips in non-USA markets.

@@audam-san7707 they do not have exactly the same chip, the exynos 2200 version present on the s23 fe has a different 4nm and is more optimized, so it could be defined as an exynos 2200+ being superior in every way to the exynos 2200 version in the s22 series

Now i can say that my Galaxy A54 is a Galaxy S23 FE 😁

S23 FE is the S21 FE but with an glass back and exynos processor in Europe 😔 I love the purple color but the silver frame destroys it for me

2:04 which is the same processer powering s22 ultra. Lol All s22 series use the same processors, using ultra as comparison to make this fe looks not as bad as it is? Just says its literally s22 from last year with some enhancement on camera, nothing relates to ultra at all

The Tab S9 , which I want, has the features I want but at a price I don't want to pay for that.The Tab S9 FE takes those features away yet remains at a price I don't want to pay for that - gone are the amoled, the processor, the stylus and the speakers. It's too stripped. The phone seems more of a reasonable compromise and perhaps worth it

The processor on the tab s9 fe is a downgrade from the tab s7 fe wifi mode with SD 778 which is on par with SD 855 855+

The bezels, the weight, the silver ring on the selfie camera... ugh

The FE is absolutely beautiful too bad it’s 100.00 bucks over priced I can’t believe anyone would buy a budget Samsung tablet when you can buy the entry-level iPad even if you hate iOS I’ll be honest this FE phone is absolutely gorgeous. I like it better than the S series.

Whats wrong with bezels? samsung willingly pushing huge bezels to make it look inferior while 200$ phones have got slimmer uniform bezels. S20 Fe is still the best as far as design is concerned.

I don't think FE series is a good idea. Samsung need to focus on actual products and improve software partnership about Tablet and fix shutter lag. That's what matters. Plus, 8 Gen 1 is not the best chip to put in a device, 8+ Gen 1 is. Same for Exynos.

Can't believe Samsung used the Exynos 1380 in the tablets..., this thing is exactly the same speed or even slightly worse than the 778G 5G in the Tab S7 FE (which I have...). What a disappointment...

@@rajasankar390 Both s9 fe and a54 released at $450. Like l said, even many chinese phones doesnt have 7 gen 2. Apparently its expensive so there are releasing a cheaper 7 gen 2s or something. 8 gen 1 is used in s23 fe. Probably samsung had lot of old stocks for it.

I prefer the Nothing Phone 2 almost same price

It is a whole new line really since they used to release FE products individually. This should be an entire line in itself moving forward alongside everything else they offer

Personally not a big fan of the FE, they look kinda cheap and worse than the base S line phone. I'd rather buy last year S phone and get a more premium experience for the same or maybe even lower price.

If they priced it too low the a54 would be obselete, below 500 bucks for everything it offers is just impossible unless they want to make negative profits. Or if they fill the phone with ads and undeletable apps like the chinese ones does.
